Ok, I will be the first to disagree with Hayate the Combat Butler - sure, there is lot's of loli, but otherwise it's really nice manga, which you can truly enjoy if you have greater knowledge about other manga's/anime's.

..and when Nagi said "You lack GUNDAM in your life", I actually started to watch all gundam series, now I am Gundam-knowledgeable

Eh~h, I think Hayate is pretty unusual, then. It's not like Gantz where most people like it and only a few hate it, but I've seen more than enough criticism for the series. It's hard to say. I think that Yakitate!! Japan does a better job of Japanese-culture jokes, though, and making a good and interesting story. And the ART...!

Yakitate ! Japan is good, but Hayate isn't as bad (and I actually like art in Hayate, it's simple but not gross). The DBZ reference, Code of Geass, Death Note refernce, Tsukihime references, Detective Conan's, Inu-Yasha's, Rurouni Kenshin and especially Gundam references - it really makes me laugh when I notice from where this jokes come from

I think you mean JJBA Part 3 + crap. Totally agree with SDK as well by the way.

K' to start off with, Lucky Star. This is the cancer that's killing anime. Piss-poor, about as engaging as reading a story by Oh Great without any pictures. Those lazy, down-market fags at KyoAni should just die. I don't see how this can appeal to anyone who isn't an irredeamable loser who's forgotten what it's like to be alive. Yep. SDK is terrible. I read to the end of the series, but like any other similiar mangas, the main character strenghts with the help of his friends then kills the bad guy and everyone is happy.

^ I didn't read the end but I kinda thought that happened - I think I stopped reading when I saw Faust ghost becoming a 12 meter giant nurse with demonic wings... I just thought that it was a good moment to stop...

Kenshin anime after the Shishio ark. Just plain crap.

Naruto anime is so bad compared to the manga. Too many fillers and flashbacks along with the long talks that take like 40% of the show.

If we're going by anime, I can think of nothing worse than the D.Gray-Man anime (although I wouldn't recommend the Ouran one, either). If you think Naruto was bad, try having fillers fifteen episodes into the series. And continuing from there.

I once again absolutely disrecommend Ryuguden (manga). Human-fish sex. The eating of infant children. Weird twisted parodies of Alice in Wonderland. And crappy plain art to boot. I challenge anyone to find anything good about it.

Manga Genre Focus: Romance, Comedy, Slice-of-life. Primarily shounen, then seinen and shoujo.

It sounds as though you've just listed 3 good things about it right there. I think I'm gonna give it a shot.
