Thread: What if Manga is like...

...american comic books? You know, like, after 50 years, Luffy has three clones, Naruto becomes a hokage and dies with Konohamaru replacing him, events in Sailormoon would coincide with events in the real world, and the story of each and every manga just goes on and on, without an end in sight... Would you still like it?

It'd work, unfortunately. Only because it's called "Naruto."

wouldnt this forum be right? cause hes dscussing about mangas in general, while the misc is for a certain kind of manga?

no, thats one of the reasons why i read manga and not american comics, there too ridiculously long with neverending plots and spinoffs, its like someone made a bunch of characters decades ago and no one else is creative enough to make there own so they just keep using theres :/

edit: i think this is the right forum, the misc. series is supposed to be about specific series while this one is for recommendations, generalizations, and crossovers, right?

This is the correct forum, actually. Afterall, I am discussing manga in general, and not any one specific manga.

If manga became similar to American comics...I believe someone just shot down my imagination.

The difference between American comics and Manga, are ussually the storylines. Stories with goals such as One piece and Naruto have to end eventually which makes me wonder how its gonna end. American comics just keep running off from the original story.

Next thing you know, there's gonna be a new batman series.

I like Batman, though. Say, aren't they making those Japanese Marvel comics? I remember seeing a manga of X-men on some ad somewhere...

They are -- and I have to say, what they've done to Spiderman makes it sound almost worth tracking down.

Haha, I just checked on Wiki... they actually had sex and gore on the Spider-man manga
