Thread: Your type of Manga or Anime

What type of manga or anime do you like. For example shonen, seinen, shoujo, josei, ecchi stuff (anything in that category) or other?

I personally like shonen and seinen

I'd answer the poll if it let me pick more than one. I read more widely than one demographic audience.

Seinen, of course. By far the best.

....and, in direct opposition to Cooler, I'm mostly a fan of shounen series. I even find myself enjoying the most formulaic and unoriginal series in that genre. There are some great seinen manga too, and some decent or even excellent shoujo series (I can't say I've read anything in the josei genre besides Nana, and I certainly don't read ecchi manga for the ecchi aspect), but overall, most of the series on my computer are shounen.

Which is odd. -__-;; At least they all have romance in them. Mostly.

Heh...Well, I like some shounen, it's just that I find seinen works to be much deeper.

But that's just me. To each his (or her) own.

I'm for all the categories actually, well less on the ecchi. Each genre really has their own golden apples to it. Sometimes its hard to find but they are there. But i find a majority of Seinens to be really good, so i voted for seinen.

But then again, I never could figure out why high school girls read shoujo.

Because they wish to find someone to love as easily as the people in the stories? That's what shoujo is right? Love stories geared toward girls right?

They look for an outlet for what could be a pathetic love life, or they just enjoy reading love stories.

But on topic I'm a all-rounder. If I like it I like it, doesn't really matter the genre (though that's true for everyone). But I guess I've read shounen the most, and my favorite at the moment is a shounen. So it's shounen for me.

Tell me how a story as pathetic as this is supposed to make them feel better.
