Fairy Tail - Fairly new, only 30 chapters or so scanlated. The artist worked with oda (author of One Piece) and has a very similiar art style. Quite unique in story, being about mages, etc. Fairly good read.

Claymore - Has been called a toned down version of Berserk with a female lead, and I agree with that opinion. It's being made into an anime, and the first episode of it is already subbed.

Blue Dragon Ral Grado - I guess whether you like it or not depends if it's your niche or not. It's by the same artist/author as Death Note. It's quite ecchi, has some good action and there's only around 16 chapters or so scanlated.

Anyways, those are just off the top of my heads at the moment. I'm sure I can come up with more later but I can't think very well due to a massive headache.

King of Thorns - Post-apocalyptic survival story, shounen version.

7 Seeds - Post-apocalyptic survival story, shoujo version.

(Think of them as Lost, only after the collapse of civilization.)

Ares - Korean sword-n-sourcery among the Roman legions. Sort of.

Koudelka - Gaslight London with criminal conspiracies.

Spiral - Mystery/thriller set among genius schoolkids. Low-action, but some adventure.

Full Metal Alchemist - Teenage alchemist searches for a way to restore the body of his brother (who's living in a suit of armor for now).

Read Shin Angyo Onshi. It's one of my favorites, and it reminds me a bit of Berserk.

    Read Jojo's Bizarre Adventure posthaste!

Claymore, Shin angyo Onshi, King of Thorns and Full Metal Alchemist are all very good as well.
Jojo's bizarre adventure is especially great because it's pure shounen action badassery. Probably the most influential shounen series ever written and in my opinion the best as well. Most neverending shounen nowadays don't hold a feather to it. Over 80 volumes long and still ongoing, it's even more awesome than when it started. Also it isn't repetetive, which is always a plus.

i'll echo (no pun intended) the recommendations of Shin Angyo Onshi and Full Metal Alchemist.

There's this one title "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles" around 140 chapters scanlated... features characters from other CLAMP works but are entirely different people... it's about multi-dimenional travelling e.g.time travel, alternate dimensions... has good amount of action and adventure...

    you can go to groups.msn.com/tsubasareservoirchroniclesonlinemanga
    to read online manga...

Yanno, I should have mentioned Yotsuba&! as well. Admittedly, it's very low-action -- as in hardly any fight scenes -- but all it is is Yotsuba's adventures. Plus the funny.
