    Default Most Touching Anime Moment

Along the same lines as "saddest anime" thread, but with a twist!

Everyone has their favorite anime, their favorite scene, some people have a scene that moved them to tears, or at least chocked the up a bit.
Anyway, my point is that some anime has some serious emotional crevices which many fans fall into, no matter how easily seen and obvious it was. What's yours?
My most touching scenes were *SPOILERS*
Trigun- when Wolfwood died, this was one of the first anime's I'd ever watched (back when it was on adultswim, remeber when adultswim was cool? Nevermind) and so I gotta admit it got to me, he was one of my favorite characters.
Cowboy Beebop- The main character DIES!?!? That's always a tear jerker!
Battle Royale- c'mon! Almost every death was touching and sincere in it's own way
Black Lagoon- episode 14 when both the vampire children die, it was seriously so sad, especially the sister(?)'s death. Though you knew it was coming, as soon as the sister started singing I knew she was done for.
Fullmetal Alchemist- The anime was such an emotional triumph, when Ed finds Nina's corpse, when Ed kills Greed, and finally when Ed sacrifices himself to save his brother, again.
Okay I was gonna right down like another million but I realized theres just too much to name, if you've got some you wanna get off your chest, go on and preach!

That half minute near the end of Mononoke-hime after the Night Walker gets the head, but nothing happens, and you think it was too late, but then, slowly, the hill gets a little green, and a little greener, and a little greener.

That five minute ride on the train in Spirited Away, with no dialog, nothing happening -- just a train ride into the dusk.

to Blazer : yap, but it still touching. . About Destiny, the last scene where the 3 of the Coordinator's died under the collapsing "tower" is quite good to.
oh Yeah in Stargazer, very touching is the scene the tanks versus a Mobile suit. i am impressed with his word back then, so brave......

Just the unknown about what she is going to be doing. She is going somewhere where the only time you've seen the character was when she was mad and sent those paper bird things after that one guy, so you don't know what her temper is going to be. If she is going to be a mean old lady or is she going to be nice. Given the troubles of the protaganist up to that point, that is the first time she has really had any peace since the trouble started.

Reporter on Titan Maximum: Sasha is there any connection between your poor album sales and the fact that it sucked?

Everything metrobluejay said -- this is the first true quiet she's had since her parents were stolen, and she's off with her few friends to confront the witch in her own lair, and arriving at sunset. As an extended scene of quiet, it's the most touching I've watched in anything animated.
