Now finally, the thing which i think has most people confused, the "liquidy" effect in the recent chapters.


Now since there is no super quality version out, i decided to compare a scanlated vesion to the raw.
The raws get worse with every passing month, so scanlators really have their work cut out for them, but whatever technique their editors are using is what leaves the odd effect and loss of detail in most of the manga.

Gantz is still drawn in the nice high quality art as it was before, only differences being the height of characters, the amount of detail on their faces, and the shading.

hey thats really cool tha tyou put that together-- however, anyone that does something this long term is going to evolve.

some of his art is great, some seems to suffer from viewing angle distortion. Maybe it a light/shadow shading issue? But he's also the writer, no? Heavy load of work!
