I think its lame. the letters are too narrow for my eyes.
Art doesn't bother me its that new font.
I like it. Itīs cool!
I donīt care about graphics
Oku should keep his old style, the new one is terrible

I don't like his new style as much. Its still a good style, but I think that the lines are too soft looking. The whole thing looks a bit faded too.
Thats not Oku's way of drawing, its the way it is scanslated.Originally Posted by Kevin_DaKilla

I agree the last few chapters have seemed a bit different, if that's what you guys are talking about. Dunno if its scanlation or art though.

It ok by me...
new drawing style? haven't noticed it..
OK...Time to clear this up, with images.
Well the first change is at the beginning of gantz.
Obvious changes and the eyes and hair, the eyes are less manga'ish and the hair is now loose and flows with the wind etc. Other changes include his hairline and more lip detail.
Another exampple is nishi, if any character has changed alot its his. As you can see, in the beginning he his eyes were very slit, but Oku managed to keep his overall look, but obvious changes have been made due to his increase in style and skill.
Next is OKu's shading style, At the beginning of gantz there was hardly any form of shading, about midway of the series (up to now) he started adding the line where the shading is (see pic of kurono above) and in his recent chapters, although i already mentioned this, he now uses vertical lines to show dark areas (see pic of katou), you mainly notice this shading on kaze in my opinion.
I have to double post due to the "no more than 4 images rule"
