nana, you're wrong zelion, i mean, okay, nishi is not noble nor anything like that, but he's not a coward, also, there are two diferent nishis (the one who dies in the anime is completely diferent!!!. and i prefer him =P), he just don't care about the most of the people. and he's damn right, he knew that the new arrivals to gantz were just cattle, and he couldn't help, so, he stayed away and tried to survive, that's not being a coward, thats being a cold tempered, smart guy, really smart for 13-14 yaers old boy, and, finally, he didn't lie about the important things, he told kurono and the others about the bombs on their heads, so, from this we see that he actually cared about the people who proved strong enough to survive their first round... bah, i could wirte about nishi for hours, i feeld so damn identified with him =P
Un dia despues, despues de vos, cruce los dedos...

I was just watched the Gantz anime,
nishi is a rebellious kid, especially when he doesn't have parents anymore and he's already dead, so he doesn't really care about anything anymore. He sounded older than his looks, I'm wondering if the gantzer are getting older with time, as they are already dead, if it's true than I wonder how long n has nishi been in gantz?

also after he revived again, I wonder how it's going to be since he hated other people so much and think of them as rivals, the funny things is after calling everyone weak and inferior, just at the tip of the thorn, he asked for help, well he's still kids anyway, I wonder if this time gonna change his mind a little bit,

anyway I think it is going to be very interesting that the next time, he sees Reika team will be fighting so efficiently, I wonder if he's going to cooperate or will just do what he always do, with his standard trick to finish things. Or will Reika Channn melt his hardened heart, since reika is so cuuute/famous and very caring to everybody, and has good management skillz.

next chapter will be very interesting can't wait!

The difference between Nishi and Izumi is that Izumi can backup his badass attitude, Nishi can't (from what we saw so far anyways). Besides, Izumi is a fucking psychopath; he put on face paint and went on a killing spree because a black ball told him to. It was just like GTA! xD

Nishi is like the old Kurono in a way, but when he got cornered by that bird alien, he didn't really put up a good fight ...

I kind of want to see Nishi working with the group, he seems pretty clever so I'm pretty sure he'll join them (or pretend to) if he realizes that his chances of survival would greatly increase with their support (unless his ego gets in his way).

I believe nishi will team up only with Izumi in the beginning.Izumi's weapon will help them both gather some points.(I was wondering if izumi wanted to revive anyone?) Nishi is clever and ,as stated, used his mind rather than his strenght to survive. (we cant assume the previous missions weren't tough, look at izumi reminising the big hunt in a previous chapter)

Nishi never was a badass and he will never be one.
Nishi will be truthfull to everybody about gantz (not himself)

yeah i agree.... nishi is vile but not "badass"
one scared child, he surely acts his age (13-14)
Izumi tolerates him so they wont team probably Nishi looks up to Izumi, and follows him.

    1. Nishi is a self-important elitist. Seems to somewhat respect Izumi, though.

    2. It seems GANTZ restores from backups of people right before they die. Remember when we saw through Katou's eyes as he was fighting the multi-armed alien? The last memory he has before being "beamed" into GANTZ's room is while the alien is still in its statue state. Therefore, Nishi likely has no recollection of his thoughts and emotions while dying. Both Katou and Nishi both ask if they died when they finish materializing. They *didn't know* they died. To them, it never happened. It's like when restoring a document from your last backup--any changes since that last backup are lost as if they were never made. So remember to save your work frequently! ;D
I think this serves a disadvantage to the resurrection, though. Nishi may have been more empathetic if he remembered dying and Katou would remember what encouraged him to keep fighting. Those thoughts/feelings still exist in the "new" Nishi/Katou, but it would be more refined, otherwise. The same as when people have a near-death experience that causes them to look at their life differently. Ack, what am I saying? They face near-death experiences, all the time! =O Hmm, on the other hand, Katou appears to be more honest with himself while Nishi is the one putting up a front...or Katou is just more open and Nishi is hard to read. (OMG he's tryinig to live just to say he's sorry to his mom even if the means climbing over the dead bodies of other teammates! Prob not.)

    3. Truthful? If you ask him enough. But forthcoming with what he knows? Not so easily.
