    Nishi was a terrible choice.

MAMA!! I almost got 100 points and it's been a FUKKIN YEAR!! And alot of the other Gantzers reach 100 pts in what?? Less than a months time... He's the worst Gantzer ever...

I'd have brought back the Lara Croft girl or maybe get a double on Reika. You know Gantz can do it... REIKA SANDWICH!!!

Nishi is the only one with any memory of when Izumi was leader. He might even reveal a few new features of Gantz and shed some light on the vamps. It was Nishi who told them about the people in Gantz's memory.

Nishi was a terrible choice. End of story. Since I don't long explanatory post I'm going to keep it simple.

    1. Nishi was revived on the assumption that he knows something. Just because he was there before Kurono doesn't mean he knows anymore than he does.

    2. Even if he did know something, why would he tell them? Just because the revived him? Doesn't sound like something he'd do.

    3. Nishi can fight. But Nishi is not a team player. There is no guarentee that he would help the Gantz team in anyway shape or form. Chances are that he's going to go back to his old ways.

    4. Just because he might live longer than Kishimoto doesn't mean he'll help the team.

Based on the above it's pretty safe to say that Kurono dumped his choice of fufilling his promise of reviving Kishimoto in favor of a assumption!

The assumption to revive some mentally unstable kid who "may" know something.

Kurono decided to revive Nishi so that, after his leave, someone can milk the necessary info out of him that's vital for the upcoming battles. Also, you should note that, right after Kurono's thought of the vuloptuous femmals he gave Katou the "I will leave everything in your hand" look. Kurono understands Katou will revive the people that were killed in the Buddhist gods battle.

    Some predictions after chapter 226:
1- Kurono will eventually come back and fight for Gantz (duh), but only after a series of volumes. The author clearly pointed out that Kurono will be replaced by Katou (at least for a while) with the " I have someone to protect, thus I will have the power to kill every single alien that stands in my way" thing going on. Just like in Naruto, Bleach and some other mangas I can't think of.
2-Reiaka will fail miserable as a leader to be saved and be replaced by Katou.
3-Gantz will totally lose it's function thereby allowing the pathetic Army to work cooperatively with the Gantz members

    Tried to shit
    But only farted

Someone who had a different experience wrote,

    You're lucky

Perhaps it's true that people find inspiration in toilets.

and when he jumped out at thousand arms, kurono was on the ground already. it probably happened out of sight.
Actually, he saved Kurono from the second giant alien statue. He shot the alien in the face when it caught Kurono.

Well not really, Kurono blocked the attack and weren't sent flying. In fact he just stood his ground.... glaring at the alien.

I couldn't say it better. And Nishi can not fight!!!!! He was there for an entire year and couldn't reach the 100 points!!!. If Kurono wanted someone who could fight, he should have revived Hojo or Sae. If he wanted someone important (to him and Katou), he should have revived Kishimoto.

I don't understand his decision. Maybe just for the information... but I don't think that Nishi is willing to give that to the Gantzers.

PD: I don't count the sniper guy because he was not an important person to Kurono

^______^ And Yeah Katou has to be the new leader (I only hope that nobody dies, Katou is an EXCELLENT leader, but someone (I don't remember who) made me think about something after a post... Why people die under Katou's command, when he always is so concern about other's lives???)

Kurono coming back to Gantz' room

Kurono in the john looking toilet poetry, then the next thing he knows, he's in the room of Gantz...with his pants down.
Looks around, sees new people in there.
Kurono: "Did...oh no. Damnit! Not good. NOT GOOD!!! Did I...Did I die...again? Izumi? I thought you had your memory erased?"

and that is how they get Kurono back!

Probably because, despite his being in command, all of the others were either selfish, cowards, or just plain pussies.

    "We have to shoot, NOW"
They then stand there for 5 minutes, not doing anything.

And you know the point values for the previous missions how, exactly? Take the Greenonion aliens. Nishi got what, four points for that? If he'd taken the kid himself he probably would have gotten another one at most. I'm not sure what the timing between missions is like, but it takes a very long time to earn a hundred points like that. He said it was low, so let's double it—assume he gets eight points every mission. That means he'd have had to go on roughly ten missions before the first one we see, and that's assuming he always takes down the boss. At a rate of one mission per month, that's nearly a year right there.

    To put it another way:

We know he has been in for a year. We know he has taken down the boss alien for all of the recent missions, because he states that it has been a while since anyone else survived (it isn't entirely impossible that someone else pulled a Katou, but it is unlikely enough to be discountable). We know that he only has 90 points. Therefore, the correct conclusion is which of the following?

    A) He sucks at life
    B) The bosses are worth almost nothing

Hint: the answer is not A.
