Only the insane can truly judge who is sane and who isn't.

Well, I'm sane, and I judge that Izumi is insane. No matter what he felt he was missing, to kill so many people at random to achieve it...

Sorry, its insane. He's insane. No matter how one tries to rationalize it.

Look at Chapter 119 and 120, they explain Izumi's rationale as to why he does what he does and Kurono had a chance to stop all this from happening.

It's true. That was something that made me think that Kurono hasn't changed too much (even after Gantz, and the death of his closer friends) He didn't learn almost anything about the value of life. Was like... "If the people that I care for are safe... fuck up the rest of the world". He wasn't interested in what Izumi was gonna do until the point when he discovered that Tae would be there.

Default Izumi Knows Something The Others Dont"t

Izumi who has gone through the helll that is Gantz, may not be the bad guy that everyone think he is. (PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME ON THIS)
Perhaps Izumi has discovered that the world of Gantz is just like a video game and he is a mere player.

Like a video game everyone can be revived and reset,

perhaps he had realized that his world is just made out of Data and that everyone in it is just data that can be revived

This kind of thinking reverses the Gantzers being right and him being wronge because if the world is justa video game, all you can really do is restart and play again.

This is shit dude, jajaja... I'm not gonna flame you, but all human that were GANTZER, or have been involved in Gantz (like in Tae's case), can be revived (After a lot of effort, and only if the gantzer who made the 100 points want to), but... What about the people that never came to Gantz. They are dead!!!!! They were parents, children, brothers, sisters, girlfriends, boyfriends, wife, etc to somebody. Even with your MATRIX theory, the lost data, are that... LOST. You can't think of people like they were data, because there is always someone who is gonna miss them

And that person, he thinks, ain't me.

Why feel sad for the death of another? You can't even demonstrate that there's anything there to die.

No offense, really, but...that's just stupid....

"Insanity, or madness, is a semi-permanent, severe mental disorder typically stemming from a form of mental illness."

"Moral insanity is a morbid perversion of the natural feelings, affections, inclinations, temper, habits, moral dispositions, and natural impulses, without any remarkable disorder or defect of the intellect or knowing and reasoning faculties, and particularly without any insane illusion or hallucination"

"sanity is tied to the structural fit or lack of it between our reactions to the world and what is actually going on in the world"

In other words...an insane person DONT think he is insane...he thinks he is right, and everybody else wrong. He fails to behave within the normal parameters of the community, and those parameters are established for the good of the community. And everybody else who acts according to those parameters can tell he isnt and in fact, he is a menace to the community, in other words, he is insane, morally, from a mental illness, whatever, he IS insane.

Now, that doesnt make him inhuman, actually, being morally or mentally insane is very human trait. You dont see in a pack of wolves that kind of stuff. He is just an insane human and a SOB who has to get his ass kicked

And Aradiel, really, no offense. Just saying my point of view.

Some people who are insane recognize their condition. It tends not to make a difference.
