The thing to do in that case is to edit one of the posts to be something short like [Double-post removed] and the other to be the content you intended to post. The thing not to do is to add an additional post after it all.

Failure: when your best just isn't good enough.
The way i see it is he is sort of a jerk but the fealings he developed when he was in gatz are still their like how he gave the old man the directions with out saying fuck off and how he looks at Tae.
I am King
Hmm, I don't see why YOU think Katou is any better than Kurono at leading Gantz minions to battle. Hell,if you ask me Kurono is a better leader. The people Kurono leads actually lives longer! Also, at what point did you read in the manga,Originally Posted by Denisse
that people actually look up to Katou for inspiration, where as Kurono practically have his own fan squad.
A leader is one that gives commands(advices) to the army so that their survival rate will be higher.
A leader is one that's capable of striking fear to his enemies.
A leader is one that gives hope to his followers in the time of need.
A leader is one that puts his army in rigorous training so they can face the horror of war.
Out of these four, Katou was only able to do 2 of them (well kind of), whereas Kurono does all four.
Don't be bias toward Kurono just because he's a jerk ( I think he's a reasonable,good individual though). He's a freakin good leader!
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just my opinion but, Kurono is not a leader to me, yes, his people live longer, but this is not because of Kurono leadership, the truth is, they live longer because they are stronger people (The first Gantzers were not so strong). And this is thanks to Izumi's craziness. Kurono is a great fighter, and I love the role that he plays, but he's not a leader to me. You can give me plenty of reasons... but... to me (Everybody have different opinions) a leader has to have a great heart, and be prepared to risk his life to save others lives.Originally Posted by toastedchicken
To some people to be a leader is equal to be capable of striking fear to his enemies, be strong, but.... I don't think the same way.
Kurono is a good fighter but, Katou is a good leader
oookkkaaay. I respect your opinion, but your arguement on Katou for being a better leader than Kurono is weak. Kurono do have a great heart and is prepared to risk his life to save others (the current him, before having his brain wiped). Afterall, he decided to stay untill to try and revive the dead people from the past. Just by that alone, it proves he have a great heart and will risk his life, over and over again, to save others.
Instead of saying Katou is a better leader than Kurono, it will be better if you just state you favor, the character, Katou over Kurono.
I agree with toastedchicken, Katou wasn't that much of a leader compared to Kurono. One of the best aspect of being a leader is not the just standing there wanting to save people, but the ability to inspire the people under him to strive to greater heights...which is exactly what Kurono did. He inspired people to be like him and nurtured them to be able to survive on their own and working together.
Kurono revived people, but the others Gantezs (Less Izumi) did that too. And he doesn't have a great heart, he's just interested in the people he loves. He let Izumi kill a LOT of people and wasn't willing to stop him until he found out that Tae was there too. I never forgave him that. The muscle rider, and the psychics fought for save people's lives... but Kurono was just interested in Tae.Originally Posted by toastedchicken
He didn't actually, deep down, think Izumi would do it. And, yeah, at that time, he didn't really want to get involved.
But he trained the others, inspired the others and, frankly, his fighting allowed the others to survive. He's an excellent leader, and by the end he didn't think about himself.
If he only thought about himself, he wouldn't have been so adamant in wanting everyone to survive. He greatly cares about his team, that much is obvious.
Izumi killed those people. Kurono was also still reeling from the shock of having lost a good friend and two love interests and, to boot, was really disbelieving Izumi would do such a horrible deed. He shut himself off from the world, which, I must say, is a normal psychological reaction. It was Tae being in danger which snapped him out of it. He then went on to try and preserve his team, probably in a sort of atonement.
So, yeah, Kurono is a troubled man, but he's a good leader.
