I'v just seen the anime. I was wondering if those from the beginnin comes back. I think the story lost something there. I liked it so much. but after they died the story didn't make sense anymore. I think it is stupid to build up a great character and then destroy it like a bug. I loved the series until that many armed statue killed them all, after that the story fell greatly. Sorry for your time but please answer.

after that point your talking about, the anime goes in a completely different direction to the manga. so you might be interested in trying to pick up after that hunt on the manga. or starting the manga from the begining.

But do they come back in the story or do they like really die?

Well i am not going to answer your question , but , Big BUT, you have to start the manga from the begining. If you like Gantz, YOU will read it, period. The manga and Anime are different after the shrine statue Battle. Just trust me it gets a whole lot better. Small clue , there are more than one option after you get 100 points in Gantz. So read it Buddy.

Hey Girl!!! (or boy..) I started like you, first I saw the anime, and then, disappointed of the end, I decided to download the manga. If you want the manga, look up in the menu of this page. Search the name of Gantz between all the other names (http://www.stoptazmo.com/gantz). Well, since you are searching for spoilers. Katou and Nishi were recently revived. The others, Hojo, Sadaku, and even Kishimoto are still dead. It's true what the others said... you have to read the manga. Is way better!!!!!!!!!! You're gonna love the new characters!!! Ah... another thing, the last mission in the anime doesn't exist in the manga. The anime is faithful to the manga just until de 'Buda s' mission

I watched the first season uncut, then read the entire manga. I then watched the second season, uncut.
