    why does katou keep calling kurono kei-chan??? why not kei-kun or just kei???
    i know their childhood friends but it feels kinda off. can anyone explain.

    1) Kei's a child, technically.
    2) Childhood playmates...it makes sense.

    The suffixe -chan is not fixed to females only. Niether is -kun.

    suffixe -chan that he uses it just counds afectionetly and you know haw katu always reflects on young kei and looks up to him so much
    its like a chaildhood chruch in a way

    what does it mean when reika calls him kurono-kun? since she's a girl does it make a difference?

    She is showing him some respect, demostrating the she respects him, cuz what he did on the dinosaur mision (fighting this things withouth a suit er sumthing) made a really great impression of him in her, so there goes
