Thread: Manga like gantz

I have seen whole gantz manga 1 - 225. I really like it. Are there any mangas like gantz that you would recommend?

Battle Royale, I've only read the first chapter so far. But I've seen both of the movies and I liked them.

hm, I wondert about that, but BR almost has the same drawing style??? is there any relation?

am sorry but you should not compare BR to Gantz, i thought BR sucked major ass
too episodic and melodramatic, its not like Gantz in which the drama and suspense builds up as it goes along. I could only compare Deathnote to the succesful deliverance of suspense and unexpected twists of Gantz. Berserk cam be compared to it by its goriness. Both of these mangas are good and their stories are original, which also applies to Gantz.

Hmm...Read Battle Royale, Berserk, and Hellsing. All have similar levels of gore and all are far superior. Berserk is the best of the lot.

Oh, and ignore any people saying BR sucks; it's a masterpiece.

I think if you like GANTZ then you would like BR too. But here is a manga that I think you would like, the name MPD Psycho.

I've bought the fourth volume of Battle Royale already and the story is getting pretty good so far!. I specially like the chapters that reveal the past of the characters, even if they don't have gore scenes and could be a little boring, those chapters have been specially made up for the manga.
Hellsing and berserk are awesome too (specially the last one).

Gantz was my second manga ever, my first action manga.

I found that i also like Berserk, Hajime no Ippo, and Tenjou Tenge

Berserk speaks for itself and alot of other peeps have already talked about it

Hajime no Ippo is about a pathetic weakling becoming a boxer and kicking ass(yes he even takes names), but its is actually really good full of comedy and violence.

Tenjou Tenge i haven't got very far with it yet, but what i've seen so far is lots of violence, lots of boobies, and fighting everywhere for no particular reason ( the best kind of fighting)

Well, in terms of violence, gore, and frontal nudity, I'd say Elfen Lied.
