So as you can tell, I was sad for life during the Tae arc. I nearly quit reading Gantz. If it wasn't for the 100 points option for ressurection, I would have stopped reading completely.

Good point, I liked Cherry's girl too, she was cool.

1. Kei - Main character, he's grown so much since the beggining, he's my favorite.

2. Tae - Closest i ever came to crying when someone died in a show (of course i had been downloading/reading Gantz for upwards of 10hours at this point, so i might have been feeling a little "off" from this)

3. Izumi - I hate him so much, but because i hate him that much i need to love him. If it weren't for him Gantz wouldn't be nearly as awesome.

4. Spike Spiegel - No matter where i go, or what i do, he will always be awesome.

5. Ice Cream - Fuck i love ice cream. Pizza can burn in hell if it ever tries to take the place of ice cream.

Kurono Kei. Did you see what kind of a badass he can be?!

Reika : Just simply hot and first girl with some feelings for kei.. Have you noticed she is probably the only one who has said "I love you, kei" (except for the lara croft girl; and she was also just brilliant)

Sniper Dude, bang!, head blown off from 200 yards. Bang! you got a hole in your stomach..

#4: are the ESP dudes.. I gotta hand it to you.. they're doing a great work.. I hope Kurono get that ability.. could be a neat combo... hehe..

the sniper guy was so freaking cool!!! too bad he had to die though, im really gunna miss him. THen after him, would probably the 8th grader from the verrrry begining of the story. I always liked him way more than katou and the kei's put together....and he was so close too......

I don't see why everyone is a sniper fanboy. Granted, he was one of the few intelligent characters, because he A. understood how to really use a gun and B. did not attempt to be flashy and amaze everyone, even though he truly knew what he was doing.

The short answer: people admire professionalism. :P

The longer answer: I think lots of people like him because he's surrounded by all these dumbasses either running around going, "WhatDoWeDo?!? OMG!! WHAT DO WE DO?!?" or just freezing and not doing anything productive at all. (The good guys hesitate a lot. It's annoying.) He stands out because he's actually doing something productive.

I admire him a little because I'd be one of the dumbasses running around screaming my head off. I envy his ability to stay cool under pressure.

ok, after finally catching up to the current gantz story, i think i have a new favorite character. The little boy whose mom's boyfriend beat him to death. Why, may you ask? one reason: he's gunna bring out the best of the countryside general a.k.a. muscle rider [XD]. Back when he was first introduced, he didnt have much of a life goal, just to fight to the top, then tried to stop the crazy killer[Izumi]. For some reason, i dont think that he did that so much to save people, but just for the challenge. And on past missions, he's just been fighting, and he even said he didn't really care about Kei[or something like that], but now there's the little boy. the little boy is completely obsessed with him, and CSG first brushed him off, but now he's gunna protect him. I think this is bringing out the best of him, and make him a very good and strong character, but then he's probably gunna die protecting the kid from vampires/oni demon

great.. the only thing you can be sure of is that he'll die trying to protect/avenge him \o/

You know what on this you almost HAVE to pick kuruno cause i mean, you KNOW everyone else will die and whats the point of loving a dead guy

I really didn't like katou because he was so slow! he was so stupid, he didn't want any one to die on the missions, including the aliens! he never used a real gun i think the mangaka made him such a goody goody your supposed to hate him! i liked kishimoto except when she had the audacity to stroll into kei's home and rant about katou, to his face i would have got pissed too. now as kei as the leader acting more commpasionately he's still got enough balls to blow some alien's head clear off and save someone no problam, Katou doesn't!
