el oh el @ Tetnubis. Some people never cease to amaze.

In defense of Oku's breaks, it must be hard to keep up the same level for Gantz, if that was me I'd be shitting bullets trying to come up with the next chapter and a story that goes along with it.

Although... he probably should've decided the story before he got to drawing, assuming of course it's a story related delay and not a graphical one.
At the point where he was before Kurono left the story was practically writing itself...I'm not buying that he has a hard time keeping the quality level up.

Oh, and guy asking for the raw...go play with a nail gun.

Yes it was, but I think that's a problem in itself (Kurono leaving) seeing as he kinda dug himself in a hole with the story. How can he keep it up without making it lame? Kurono leaving Gantz makes for so many possibilities and eventualities how do you pick the right one? I'm probably thinking about it too much though. Seeing as it hasn't been long since Kurono left we'll just have to see what happens.

Kurono leaving GANTZ was the only thing that gained my interest. I'm glad that the author decided to take some chances instead of push out chapter after chapter of predictable events until Kurono and the gang battled it out with the vampires until it came to its incredibly unsatisfying conclusion.

The twist was bullshit designed to temporarily extend a series that will be ending soon. It was a pathetic attempt to grab more money. I'm all for plot twists but this one was simply ridiculous; an obvious ploy. Plot twists should improve series, not destroy them!

Cooler, there is plenty of room for him to explore. Look at whats going on around outside of Gantz. There is so much room for character developments outside of Kurono. The breaks boggle the mind. Moreover, for all of those that bitch about how long it takes to make a manga. I'd believe that if we were talking about berserk where the author painstakingly draws every itty bitty detail. However, aside from the people all the backgrounds are made on a computer. That only leaves design and writing as for the major tasks.

I'm going with he's got a sick mom or something.

or he's just a lazy fuck.

I wish he would hurry his ass up. the manga is predictable as it is. i'm just waiting for the end, but with all his breaks in between it makes the wait twice as long.

heres another gammer error: Did he done that on purpose?[/quote]

It is grammar you dumbass. If you are going to make a snide comment on someone's spelling or "gammer" make sure you don't sound like a complete idiot yourself. You look like more of a moron than the other guy.

When Yukito Kishiro was trying to wrap up the Battle Angel Alita (or Gunm, depending on where you live) story the quality of his work began to slip because he was dealing with a lot of health issues and had to rush through a lot of it. Unfortunately this lead to an extremely disatifying conclusion to the story in both his eyes and that of the fans. Years later when his health had improved he decided to go back to the beginning of the end and tell the story he originally wanted to tell. He's kept some elements from the original ending, but all in all he's taken Alita and the readers in a completely different direction this time and the stories he's coming up with now are awesome.

I like this latest twist, because even though Kurono is no longer in the game I am still rooting for him. We all now he will return to gantz, the question is how will he do it, what will he gain, and what will he lose in the process?

I mean, until now, there'd only been hard core action and really twisted situations that we enjoyed very much, but now, what the hell is happening, Kurono revives, Oku is only working the part to get kurono back to gantz by returning his memory along with Tae, and taking too many fucking long breaks.

I thank God that Gantz is not the only manga i'm interested in, like many other around here
