Otaku, what does it mean?
In Chapter 59 (i think)there is this girl that askes if he was an otaku.
WTF does that mean? This is as far as i got in the series so far, so i don't know what her name is, but really, what does it mean?
It's been bugging me.
You could have searched wikipedia you know. Heres the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otaku.

While doing the above isn't bad (I do quite a few and I wouldn't consider myself an otaku) doing them obsessively is pretty bad, also being close-minded about other things is bad too.
Feel free to add or correct me on this, that was just my way of seeing it.
hell no im not an otaku fag. i just like reading but i don't dwell much further than that.

I'll let you know how to use google.
1. write define.
2. push spacebar
3. write the word you don't know (in this case "otaku")
5. click "Web definitions for Otaku"
In Japanese, a derogatory form of 'you' which also has the meaning of, roughly, 'no-life geek who spends all his time building GUNDAM models...' Be that as it may, in certain circles its meaning has evolved into a less perjorative term, namely, 'huge anime fan who is respected because he spends all his time building GUNDAM models...'
Otaku is extremely derogatory. It can be likened to socially inept fanboys.
