Thread: First chapters of Gantz manga

Nishi never told anyone squat and if he did he was pretty vague. The bombs in their heads were discoverd during the first mission. Kurono was escorting Kishimoto back to her home when they began to hear the ringing noise that warns the Gantzers they are leaving the boundaries. Kishimoto saw the body of one of the Gantzers that was left so they turned back. I guess they figured out that the ringing noise was a warning b/c when they turned back it's volume lowered.

I would really recommend you read the manga, so much better than the anime and much more graphic, yet informative.

I am reading it, just I'm starting from where they branched off. Hence the bomb thing, as the anime didn't explain why they died, or have the ringing, just their heads exploded. Is it true they can't talk about Gantz or they die? I'm confused as Nishi made the website. Also, did they explain what Gantz is, or why they are fighting, or how they are selected? What about the points? I'm on chapter 120, so if its explained later I'm ok, just didn't know if I had missed it-

my reasons for saying such a thing:

it's pretty much certain that they aren't, unless they intend to go way off from the manga, because they would have to re-do too much of the story and completely remake alotta scenes just to fit it with the manga, and i don't think they would receive funding for such a thing....


although it would be nice if some rich dude decided to contribute to a random anime and continue the production of gantz!
