Anyone wonder what Izumi's epw will be?
Anyone wonder what Izumi's epw will be?
I'm not sure. However, I do know that at least one EPW is Sakata's powers...
Do you have proof or merely a preponderance of evidence?

Failure: when your best just isn't good enough.
He said he learned it from a psychic man. We know Gantz erases people's memories, but planting new memories is a different ball game.
I believe it's an assumption; after all, Sakata recalls seeing the black ball before, and his power is... quite unusual in normal humans.

Sakata said that he got it from somone that showed him and altered his brain so if that is so that wouldn't be a EPW. I say this because he even passed it down and placed it in Sakurai and I don't think Gantz would like that if that were the truth.
I however have doubts sometimes because according to Sakata his brain is causing him to die and since he had died all that stuff should have gone away but it apparently didn't so it is possible that it is a EPW.
Which chapter does he say this?Originally Posted by Kaosu Rah

I think that it didn't go away because it wasn't directly related to the cause of his death.Originally Posted by Viscious
seal broken figured out why this is.... think about the old man, hes old rignt?...now sakata said that the use of his powers has caused his organs to age, so my point is, gantz dosnt read it as "he is dying"...he reads it as old age....its not like hes going to make the old man young again is it.and since he had died all that stuff should have gone away
@Lou Zi Faah - he did say this, in not at home so when i get there i will put an image up for you.
a powerful weapon given by gantz? or just an advantage that he has in gantz?I'm not sure. However, I do know that at least one EPW is Sakata's powers...
Here's the explanation:
Right before the Dino mission, when he appears in Gantz the first time, Sakata taps on it and mentions having seen it before...but he isn't exactly sure where. That alone proves he has been in Gantz because non-Gantzers don't see Gantz.
Secondly, the psychic powers. Well, the man who gave them to him would have to be Gantz. The powers themselves aren't the Weapon, however. You know that humans only use a small percentage of their brain power, right? I suspect what Gantz did was unlock more of Sakata's brain, giving him the powers. This also allowed him to grant the powers to others, so it's possible that the man who gave him the powers was a fellow Gantzer if it wasn't Gantz himself. The reason the powers damage his body is that the human body wasn't intended to use so much of its brain; it destroys the body to use the powers.
Make sense now?
