Thread: Gantz points were resetted?.

Hi sorry for making a thread of this simple thing but its somethign i just dont see you people have noticed well yet.

Well the detail its this, Gantz resseted the points on the oni mission, what i mean its that all the previous points gained by the gantzers were deleted at all, and so the points gained were equal to the points that they have, just checking, if kurono gained 136 points and he already have 88, then why the total was too 136 points?

When gantz clock dissapeared, all the points did too?, so, does that mean that all the fights before of kurono were useless, because he got all the points in one mission... the same goes for izumi and the others..


ummmm also, cherry got 0pts too, and nishi points were also probably reseted too, and Katous too(well he didnt actually have many after all).

well thats what i wanted to point out

Sakata revived cherry ... so he used 100pts....
Well there weren't useles ... he got expiriens ....

I think they messed up.. people with few points such as reika and the old man archieved 100+ while kurono and izumu had alot of points and they only endud up with 135 around wasnt it? not to mention they killed the boss, who actualy got the points for that?

We know the invisibility-to-normal-people, the timer, and the Gantzdar had all stopped working towards the end. Do we have any evidence that the scoring was working? The final boss could have simply not given any points as a result of the Gantz malfunction.

That's the most intelligent comment I've heard in quite some time. I believe you're right. The scoring was probably not working along with everything else at the end of the battle.

...ok, its a possibility, and i know inaba got points for what seems to us as screwing an alien and nothing else...but... your forgetting about izumi...as it was show to us he didnt partake in any killing whatsoever until the final boss, where it is clearly shown that he caused the fatal finishing blows to the oni, which shows that the points were still tallying even after gantz shut down.

Um, no. It's pretty clearly demonstrated (for example, in Issue 194) that he's been out slaughtering them with the rest.

...still, 80 points for izumi from just killing minor aliens, while sakata got 84 for killing minor aliens and a boss...
