Thread: the end???

Could this possibly be the end of the Gantz series, with the best character, Kurono, the only one to ever really survive, being free?

How much further does the series even go? It does have room for surprises, kind of like how the former Gantzer came back, would Kurono do the same and come back? Especially since he said himself he was going to get everybody dead back to life!

ALSO, since Tae was brought back to life, but not in the room, why did she not recognize Kai?! What could this latest chapter really mean?

lol they both lost their memories. but i still think this sucks the ending of this chp loocks lice some love shit. start the killing again ^^

she knows kurono, who he is, etc, but he doesnt know who she is. she still has the memories of being chopped up by izumi.. maybe... AND she has some drawings of kurono still left, the mom only gave him 1 of them.

but y would she not be put back into the room like everyone else revived? what's gantz planning (i wonder!)?

but if she does remember him, y wouldn't she say hi to him on the street rather than keep walking?

anyways, i think he should take reika instead of the stupid beatch, she should've died and not been brought back to life!

1: because she wasnt in gantz to begin with.

2:she obviously dosnt remember him, mayb the both of them had a nostalgic feeling when they met eyes but its obvious they remember nout.

3: wait and see...reika may make a move on him now that hes free, also how would you feel if sombody close to you was killed, and you had the chance to revive them. Tho at this point it is deemed pointless, due to the mind erase

hmm, will tae's family also have their memory wiped about kurono? if not, high chance that they will tell her about it... also, how long did tae die? won't her family feel weird for her sudden disappearance and also their broken front door?

well it cannot be the end because the vampire guy's still live and in one episode alien said to Kurono that , there is going to be an invasion , and the "gantzers" is the one's who must stoped the invasion or something like that

wait I cant see how having them remeber eachother would be bad for gantz. I think he just did it because he hates Kurono. I thought Gatz would only wipe your memory of Gantz not par bof your life. Though in this case I would have to thank Gantz. Kurono should have revived Sei and let Tae dead. So this raises a question. How much of your memory should gantz erase? How much would he have to erase to make sure he wouldn't be exposed and can he erase the minds of people he hasn't in advertantly killed.

We already know that Gantz's techniques are imperfect (see living originals being left behind, Izumi's memories surfacing, the creator of the Gantzblog's head not popping). I don't think we have any reason to believe that Gantz doesn't realize this, so offering the minimum in terms of ways to dig up pieces of the past is desirable.

Kurono's decision would have made a great deal more sense if Tae's memory of him had indeed been wiped, but of course he'd have had no way of knowing at the time—I suspect the writer is going for something else, but it isn't impossible that there was originally supposed to be a gap there that was edited out for some reason.
