Default If you had to study something related with gantz world...

Ok, this surely is a stupid thread for most of you and I'll probably get banned, well here goes nothing....
I heard that there's a big tendence from otakus to study system engineering, computer engineering or any other computer-related carrer, I don't know if this gossip it's true or not, but I have a few Otaku friends that study system Enginnering and they say it's "the otaku/geek carrer". Do you think this it's true or not? If you had to study something that might have a relationship with gantz world, what could it be?

I guess that would be an otaku geek carrier because there's alot of animes that have huge mobile suits like in gundam or xenogears so engeineering is related to those.
In gantz there isn't anything career wise that would go with it unless you take a "asshole joke class" from gantz himself or learn to place bombs in peoples heads for the future government requirements.

Otaku is a negative word. Don't put labels on me.

    are they realy impossible?
beoming egineer or scientist (boxer or baker) isnŽt too difficult.

it is becoming impossible if you want to be like the mangachar in your job.

    want to build gantz!?
    super vapor action bread!?

f you choose your job because of a anime/manga i think its okay
(everyone chooses his job for any reason....is posing for chicks a better one?)
but you should have the realistic view for your limitations you mentioned....

if i have zero talent in math and the related subjects....of course i canŽt be engeneer...but also a lot of things can happen if you work with ambition.

i was refering to the technology of gantz happening today...

we barely makes a real human robots move.. gantz technology is far more advance.. but im not saying that its impossible to achieve...

but chances are.. it'll to difficult for us today.

im not referring to all the aspects of "realities" in manga.. but being a skillful craftsman, like a baker in yakitate, is possible.. all we to do is to believe and try harder..

all is possible in due time...

I think so too, dreams might come true with hard work (and if they're rational too), as long as you believe in them, but surely you must realize that you can't base your carrer entirely in a manga, because it's your life, it's ok if manga or anime inspire you to do something, but not to represent them.
