i agree with everything you have said coolerimmortal, especially with the english language. this is an english site, and as such everyone should be considerate enough to post in english.

First, this entire forum consists of people from all over the world, the belief in one language is foolish coming from a person whom pretends to be intelligent. With all due respect, this is the twenty-first century where becoming a poly-lingual is idolized. Do not dare post statements that openly show your naive and arrogant views.

If you are going to try to use big words to make yourself seem intelligent, then at least try to use them correctly. Apocryphal is an adjective, not a noun. "Poly-lingual" is more commonly spelled without the hyphen, and it is not a noun in either case.

For the most part, I agree with the opinion presented by coolerimmortal. However, I don't think everyone needs to speak perfect English to be here. If someone wants to speak Portuguese (or whatever language people from Brazil speak these days), that is just fine. They had best be sure to include at least a Google translation though.

This forum isn't all too big, so it is fairly surprising to see so many people who don't understand simple forum etiquette. I suppose the only truly apocryphal thing in this thread is the skill with which Hanlesky speaks English.

I didn't say everyone needs to speak perfect English; merely you should make your posts easy to read. This means decent English.

We have a thread for Spanish discussion of Gantz. I believe that since English is the common denominator on this board it is the only language that can be spoken. Since not everyone here speaks a non-English language it's best to stick to English.

First post, and i dislike the way this forum has my name spelt with a captail letter. It makes me feel small for some reason. I wonder why it did that.

Meh. Mine's like this on purpose; I've had it this way for four years on one board or another.

While agreeing a lot with what you said Cooler, this guide is for noobs who care if you post a "You fail," in their topic. As most don't and just come in here to post their stupid, already discussed ideas, this guide is seen as "How to not piss Cooler" than a "How to not piss everyone off."

Like da for instance. I use da sometimes, da is word that some people like to use at times, whether it be because they like to or they don't know how to spell "the."

So a "You Fail." In response to "da" in entirely unwarranted IMHO.
