Are you one of those persons to stupid to think? Kurono loved Tae the moment she died, as well as the moment she got resurrected. The reason he fought so well was to bring her back to life. Not just for him to still have a live girlfriend, but to save the life of the girl he loves. Reika exchanged her own freedom to save Tae's life (it was her way to proove her love for Kurono). Even though Kurono doesn't remember Tae anymore they saved a life from being whiped out. He loved that girl and would have died for her to save her when he was in GANTZ. There is no "pointless" in what they did.

lol it's a good point tho. What's the point of reviving your lover if you're just going to forget each other. but of course this means they're gonna get back together somehow, or at least remember they were once together.
