Yes. They forgot each other. Gantz wiped her memory of Kurono to keep himself secret and wiped Kurono's memory of Tae because Tae was associated with Gantz.

Well, in that case, then this story is still interesting. It'll be interesting to see if Kurono is still the dickhead, or has his personality changed.

The way he laughed at what was shown on tv certainly shows he's his old asswipe self.

He is a dickhead. He laughed when he heard about the terrorist attack.

Well there's one thing the story will probably touch upon (if the mangaka isn't dumb enough to overlook it) and that's when Kurono goes back to school.

After all he's forgotten everything (it would be safe to assume he was simply 'reloaded' to his state before his death) so when he goes back to school he'll suddenly find out his whole class was massacred and the only survivors were Tae, Izumi and himself.

Izumi will most probably either snub or bully him (since he hates Kurono's guts) and Tae will naturally gravitate towards him (since it seems like she had an eye on Kurono to begin with)

So yes I think he'll still end up with Tae although things will probably get a bit rocky since he hasn't had any 'character development' (that was brought about by Gantz)

If the mangaka remembers those rather obvious details I'm sure we can expect the next story arc to be quite interesting.

I dont think Reika and Kurono will be a couple. She might have said she loved him, but I think she loves him because of his "maturity", which he has none of left. So when they meet again he'll be a fuckedup ass and she'll probably slap him in the face or something.

I think that as Kurono don't remenber Tae, he won't like her anymore (remenber that Kurono just started to like her after he was dating with her and as they won't date I don't think he will still like Tae).
As for Reika (I like her but I don't want Kurono and Reika to stay together) I think that she will not be able to control herself and she will go after Kurono (maybe they will end up together.) - -
