Wouldn't that mean it would be more like a clone, and not you. Your mind and body are dead, the gantz clone is a body who looks like you and has your memory. Basically that means none of us could be in gantz, but a copy of our body could be. In my theory we would never know, and we don't control this other body so it doesn't really matter. hmmm, although my response could change depending on how the story progresses, ie more details on these "aliens"

If I died once, then perhaps, but man that'd be terrifying. We can all joke about how much 'fun' it'd be and so on, but actually being in it. That would be some scary shit.

Because when you die it's not YOU in there but you're clone. You'd be dead and your clone would think of themselves as the "original you". Kind of like that chick in the beginning of the manga. She went to Gantz but her original body actually lived. So when she went home from Gantz she saw that she was ALIVE and she had to stay at Kurnono's place because it'd be weird with two of her. It's a copy that lives not you.

As to answer the question, I would totally do it. I don't know about the vampires part that's basically suicide unless I got mad skill. But if I had some time to practice and learn what everything does then it'd rock. Invisibility, super strength, and crazy weapons.

The idea of a clone sort of negates the concept of having a soul, doesn't it?

It'd be nice if when the original body dies, you literally become the clone, despite the fact that you're being copied. A sort of soul transfer.

In my case it depends. If there actually were alien species after the earth and I could do something to thwart their plans by being a gantzer, then definitely. But to be a gantzer for someones sick, and twisted humor... no thanks.

tho this is interesting...how would it count in kei kishimotos case...i dont think it would/could work like this...new clone...new soul

I would like to be a gantzer but not bcause of options,i dont really care abt dying so i dont think i would chose it bcause i dont want to die,so i would like cause i would fight all the time.

I would definitely choose Gantzing over poofing out of existence any day. Besides, it'd probably put my life in perspective and I know it'd be a hell of a lot more interesting than what I'm doing now. College sucks.
