Thread: Question about Gantz Downloads Chapter 57 and on

Well I just came back from school today and started downloading Gantz but found that it took an unusually longer time compared to the usual downloads about 7 - 8 minutes compared to the usual 1 - 2. Not only that the files are now automatic Photoshop viewing which is a hassle compared to the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

While the usual chapters are about 2000 kb this one says its 20,000 kb but has basically the same amount of pages.

So what happened? Was it meant to be like this? Or is it something with my computer? Arghh...long downloads.Please helpoo.

They were never saved as jpeg's or gif's just raw TIF's from scans, I seem to remember this being discuessed somewhere on the forum so you can search and maybe find a better answer.

Edit, just as a sidenote, it does go back to normal after about 5 chapters.

Yeah it goes back to normal after a while. However the TIFFs seem to be of pretty good quality. That much at least, was a good thing about them.

Actually Omanga/Hawks also released a "LQ" version of all their chapters, though for those particular chapters, they are much rarer and harder to find. I searched around for a long time and finally found them. Unfortunately, I don't remember where. Try their channel or maybe the [W-D] GantZbot that idles in Shocwave and W-Dreamers channel might have the LQ releases.
