Thread: Proof of author screwed up kurono's points as well as others

Who really knows what is Gantz' system? He seems to assign points to people that put on a good show. I.E. Kaze beating the doo doo out of a alien with his bare hands. Or the old man... he's an old man and he's tough as nails. Inaba he banged an alien-- Kurono did the expected. Izumi did the expected. The system seems completely arbitrary.

Well... the only explanation that I can think of for the old man and Kurono's points is: Kurono let the old man take most of the points. Kurono knows the difference between their points, so he lets the old man finish off most of the targets while only taking a couple for himself.

Inaba probably took a couple kills some time off screen or something... There were probably a lot more aliens than mentioned.

maybe aliens killed when gantz timer had stopped doesn't count??

As all of us have read something happend to Gantz thus it let the humans to see the Gantzers maybe this has something to do with the points also.

I mean, I see Gantz as some sort of computer, maybe someone is trying to hack Gantz and that way he let the humans see Gantzers and maybe that person also fucked up the points?

Well who knows Gantz is filled with strange shit its an option though

There seemed to be an incredible amount of dead bodies everywhere. How can you say you know what they should have when the author doesn't show you how all those bodies die?

As someone already said, who cares what points they got.

And going beyond that, it is fiction.

I doubt it. Before the fight ended I would expect Kuono to be the greediest bastard he could, as he didn't know he'd be getting free releases from the other Gantzers. He expected to need at least 300 points.

What I don't get, is why Kurono picked 1. I know he wants to get back to Tae, but how is he gonna do that. The memories are erased, so he won't remember her, he'll probably think she's nuts, unless because of everyone knowing, it'll be like amnesia, and he'll get his memory back through stories and video. Also, with the resurected people, how the hell are they going to explain that. They've all been dead for quite awhile. Kurono's absence in the beginning was tiny, but the others have been gone a while.

Another question is, will Kurono be pulled back into Gantz like Izumi? Will the focus change onto a new character. Will Kurono be somehow connected despite not being pulled back into Gantz?
