Gantz doesn't control whether or whether not the aliens are visible or if they can stay in a certain area. The aliens control when or when they aren't visible and judging from the tiny alien they can come and go from the area at will.

Thanks for the summary Kaonashi. To be honest, from what I read, that section of the anime seems pretty shit. It sounded too much talking and I hated Evangelion's non-understandable storyline. My idea was more focused on Kurono's desperate skill for survival. I wanted to see more action scenes such as the one when he fought a T-rex without a suit.

I feel it is yet too soon to determine what Gantz is . I guess one fact that is certain now is that when Kurono leaves gantz, his relationship with Tae will collapse due his lost of memeries. This will definitely lead to some interesting consequences
