This is some food for thought.
Have anyone imagined the possibility that Tae might be a part of the next mission? I know it sounds unlikely yet there are 2 things that have my mind running: 1. Everyone revived by Gantz is fated to Gantz will (thats the theory anyways....), please try to see the difference from revived and be set free. Gantz didn't choose her to be a member in the first place, I understand that well, yet ... 2. Gantz likes to f*ck up with Kurono. From sending him alone to a very difficult mission (at that time), penalizing him from not finishing the mission (even when he killed enough aliens to have reached 100 points that time), adding a clause to get 15 points minimum on the "jurassic mission" when he thought of hiding out to survive it. Putting his girlfriend to be the next hunt, etc. ... I can go on with this. Let's say Kei revives Sei and Kishimoto...Kei will face a girl he liked yet he acted like an idiot with (Kishimoto), a girl he screwed ,and one that would jump in Kuronos arms if he asks for it. Wouldnt be "the Gantz way" to f*uck him up again to add tae to that mess? |

Tae would need to die to participate of the Gantz games. She did, but being spawned outside the apartment tells me she won't be playing. It just doesn't sound like it'll happen to me. I don't think I even remember seeing a pin-up of her wearing the Gantz suit, ever.
And Kurono didn't act like an idiot towards Kishimoto (if you call "ecchi incidents" to "act like an idiot", then yes). If anything, she did, towards him. That kind of girl makes me fucking mad, so that's why I don't like her. |

I seriously doubt Tae will have much to do with the storyline afterwards. I believe the author drew her so commonly relative to the other characters for a reason...so she can contribute to the storyline and go away. I've never read a comic whereby the female lead character, or the woman of the male lead character look so freaking average.

I think we'll have one more Tae chapter in which she'll break up with Kurono and then she'll be gone for good.

I actually have a logical reason for thinking this. I'm pretty sure I've got Gantz's structure figures out at this point. All along, the mangaka has been doing "different" things. Most obviously, Gantz is a seinen series with a shonen mindset. He's been doing odd, genre-bending things all along. I think he's been planning this from the beginning. Here goes: All of Gantz so far has been carefully planned out. Very carefully planned, right down to the revivals. All of the character deaths so far have served one purpose and one purpose only: To establish that in Gantz, no one is guaranteed to survive. Killing Katou and Kishimoto was a bold move. He had already planned to revive them. In short, all of Gantz was meticulously planned as a setup for the Vampire mission. Now he's bringing everyone back to set up the ultimate Gantz team. From this point on, none of the current survivors will die. It's going to be straight-up ass kicking. First things first, Kishimoto and Lara are going to be revived within the next two chapters by Kurono. Shortly thereafter, the following will occur: 1) The story of Katou's brother will be resolved. 2) Kishimoto's situation will be figured out, including where she has to live. 3) Kurono will reunite with Tae only to have her say they should break up. 4) Nishi will be pumped for information. 5) Takeshi's situation will be resolved. Expect much ass kicking. I almost pity his father. 6) Lastly, Kurono will discover the truth about Akira immediately before being taken to the Gantz room. After that, the Vampire mission will occur with minimal casualties. The "End of the World" scenario spoken of by Nishi will then commence. Shortly thereafter Gantz will end. I'm not sure if I've properly communicated my theory, but I'm sure it's true. IM me for clarification.
