Thread: Gantz 219 raw, when is it coming out!!!!

I knew Nishi would come back but I never expected before Kishimoto or Sei. As long as those 2 come back next I'll be happy. I don't know why everyone hates him and calls him a dick, he had a good strategy that worked for over a year. But in the end when he was almost free got all cocky and lost his cool and it got him killed.

Man was I suprised this morning and found out 219 was out I had just finished translating it and bam someone beat me to it when posting it, so I said guess I don't have to since someone already did.

And to the guy that told me Nishi coming back wasn't a possibility and to shut it, hahahaha I told you so.

I've long suspected that he got killed because he got shot by the gangster right at the beginning and it weakened his suit. Who knows, the alien(s) might still have taken him out, but being stuck in the water without a suit would be death for anybody.

I don't think getting shot weakened Nishi's suit it, if he wasn't wearing it his head would have exploded. It takes multiple shots to weaken it so only one shouldn't do the trick.

As I said he lost his cool and died because of it. He had 90 points and was eager to get the kills asap and no longer followed the strategy that kept him alive for over a year. He would remain cloaked then when the target let it's guard down he would strike catching it off guard stealing the kill, and racking up all the points to himself.

But he went on the offensive and chased down one of the Suzuka aliens all byhimself, lost his cloaking ability then his gun, at this point he should have retreated and regrouped and or formed a new plan. He was stuck in water where it's hard to fight or even move not the best location for a battle. Then he was down to only the power of the suit and when it broke needed help no one wanted to because of the way he treated others not good.

It's funny actually all Nishi had to do was kill 2 Suzuka aliens for 5 points each and rely on the others to finish the mission and he would have been home free. If he didn't underestimate his enemy and have the big ego he had then he would have had a better chance. Even though team work is not his thing it was the one thing that he could have tried, I mean come on your close to the 100 points nows not the time not to play it safe.

Wait if I remember correctly the alien he was going to kill did have his guard down nor did he hunt it down because Kurouno was the one who had brought it to the Gantzers. The thing that fucked him up was the little chick thing that was around the tanaka alien. I mean I wouldn't have noticed it on the ground and I doubt you would have either. Also one shot didnt BREAK his suit but it did weaken it. The tanaka's sound blast from the mouth damaged it the rest of the way so it would break. Then him jumping into the river, I don't think he jumped in there because he wanted to I mean to be fair all he was trying to do was get away from the high pitched sound. Then you have to add that the Tanaka alien was able to spot where he was WHEN he tried to run away while he was invisible so basically he was fucked because of one mistake and one newbie. It was just a stroke of bad luck.

Yep, you got it right. One gun shot plus some alien attacks and BANG. Defense down.

Makes a lot of sense to me.

I don't think the gun shot really damage the suit, because gantz repairs it everytime one is transported so, when the mission started his suit was undamaged

When was that actualy said? I only remember him repairing anything when they get transported to the room(either dieing or returning for another mission) or when they go there after they end a mission...well anyone who is alive anyway.

That actually makes sense, because Kurono damaged his suit after the Tae mission (he was shooting himself), and when he went back to Gantz his suit was already repaired.

He shot himself? I must have missed that I thought it was the other guys who broke his suit. Meh and since I know someone is gonna ask for examples Check out when Kurouno dies at the beginning, when he fights izumi, and after he comes back from the buddha mission...I figured any other case, such as Nishi getting shot before the mission starts is his way of saying your s.o.l. as that seems to be more his style.
