yes....only because there isn't a "possibly" choice...
you could say he's evil cause he kills people who release information about him...but that could be because he doesn't want the information to get out, therefore kinda warning the aliens...then they would hide or form strategies before hand to own the gantzers, and maybe the aliens are like bent on taking over the world and ruling/killing the humans, therefore making gantz's cause good, therefore making him good.....
(i didn't think this through thoroughly, so please...don't add in any insults to your responses, and don't bother telling me about punctuations either, " , " are more then enough to show you when to pause and start a new/continue (a) sentence)
I think not...Gantz is Earth's protector..he is recruiting and training warriors to fight aliens...
Kane is a prince....
I somewhat feel that way, but also I don't think he's evil, just mildly deranged and unable to assume responsibility for the deaths he causes.Originally Posted by Gaban

Gantz doesn't cause the deaths, but only resurrects the dead. It depends on how you look at it. Gantz could care less about who he brought into the room and whether they live or die on a mission 'cause he would just bring back someone else to replace them. Yes, i think it is evil to make someone fight for their life against their will, but it is also like a second chance to live and to not be dead.
Raising my fighting spirit.
Well, the aliens don't seem like they'd kill people unless provoked. So i think Gantz is evil. Just my thoughts.
No way is gantz evil. He's not good by any matter, but he's not evil. As the story progresses the "aliens" start to become more and more intelligent, and know who/what gantz's warriors are. So it's more like he's starting them off with fairly harmless creatures, and moving them up slowly teaching them how to use the suit and fight to be able to defend the world.
Granted the whole 100 points and you get out thing doesn't help him much, but the few people who do get 100 points (the one they've showed, haven't seen another) wants to come back. And there would be no motivation to kill unless there was a way out.
But overall, Gantz is not evil.
The only time this isn't the case is the latest mission, where I'm sure all the aliens have heard about the Gantz events and are pissed about this uneeded fighting. In all the other missions there's a reason why the aliens are fighting back.Originally Posted by 1cor1313

-Grumpy statue aliens: If I remember correctly the group had tried to bust open the doors of the temple. The statues were there for protection.
-Oddly strong vegetable looking aliens: Kei threatened one with his gun and once he killed the first, the rest were pissed.
After this is the Dinosaurs, the "Horsemen of the Apocalypse" as I like to call them, the Tae mission, and then the latest. From there it doesn't seem like the Gantzers are doing much to make the aliens angry, but at this point I guess they're hearing about the Gantz missions and learning to take proper measure.
The fact that Gantz would make Kei's girlfriend a target because she had evidence of the missions should imply that Gantz is either not human, or heartless.
To me Gantz looks more like a sadistic tv show than an "earth defense program"![]()
The way he plays with the character and their feelings is obvious, for example the sarcastic debriefings with h4x0rs writing makes definitly think to a punk who is playing god and enjoying a big show on his computer screen.
Anyway, the question is still what the f... are these aliens doing on earth??
hey uh....
i voted yes, but i've changed my mind after reading some posts and thinking about it, so it's in fact 1 less "yes" votes and 1 more "no" votes
