Thread: Do u think gantz is scared of the vampires?

it seems that the vampires are much much more smarter and active than all the other aliens so far in the manga. i think gantz is scared of the vampires and that's why up until now he didn't sent his hunters to kill the vampires because they are actually his most dangerous enemies. And now gantz is trying to build up a powerful army of hunters so he can use them to take on the vampires. And also do u ever wonder how akira kurono became a vampire and if there are any other species of aliens that are more powerful than the vampires? I also don't see any significance in akira kurono because of how weak he is right now but then again he has to be powerful cuz he's kei's brother

I think you´re right to say that gantz sents the hunters to his most powerful enemy at last ( 1st onion aliens,then bird aliens, then buddah aliens, .... , then oni aliens) , but I don´t think that he is scared of them. I´m not sure if he is able to feel fear. Of course the hunters will be scared (most of them), but not gantz. He has a eternal source (you know what I mean he can always get new hunters) of hunters, he´s just the one who sents them, he needn´t fight himself.

u're not following Gantz real story.

Remember the aliens saying that the hounters know nothing? i think buddha's and Vampires and Nishi too said that.

some questions to be found are:
--why is there a war? (i mean, beside vampires, no other alien harms humans)

-- Why can hunters kill or "send" aliens? what is the reason for sending??

-- Why, if vampires have the gps localization of the hunters, don't attack Gantz? (i mean the black ball)

-- Who is Gantz? is it human? imagine its not. then.. is gantz using humans to start a war against aliens, but only using human hunters to distract aliens their real enemy?

I think the gantz story will show us these answers.

i think that the vampires are the alians that live in the human sucity and thats make then very dangures,also they have the same power as the "gantzers" with the suit.
and maybe all the alians until now were just a warm-up to the last and the strongest of alians, the vamps...

well...I think that this question is going to be answer in the end of the manga (or maybe not) but I hope so and I'm curious about it^^

One I'm pretty sure only the Oni's had the cell phones with the location of the members of Gantz it showed it. But the vampires don't. The vampires usually show up when their is a bunch of aliens around and know the Gantz team will come eventually.

Even when they went after Izumi after school they only targeted him because they had a taken a picture of him and finally found him on the street. But if they knew about the Gantzers they would have targeted Kei Kurono as well since he was with Izumi but they just ignored him like he was a normal kid.

As for vampires being aliens I think that is not true. It said when nano-machines infect a human they turn into a vampire. And that they where discovered on earth several hundred years ago. So I'm assuming nano-machines are some sort of left over alien technology that got loose. And Gantz is there to clean it up.

Vampires are about as strong as the suit. But the Oni bosses put up more of a fight. Look at how a X-gun or Gantz sword makes mince meat out of the vampires. While the Oni Bosses took shit loads of damage to be brought down epecially the last one.

As for them being smart they do know a little about Gantz but not that much that if you see someone in a black suit he more than likely is going to kill you, unlike the other targets who walk around without a care in the world until they are attacked. The vampires are over confident and that's why they keep getting killed, and if they knew so much why do they keep trying to capture Izumi? They need more detailed info so they want to interogate him.
