in the manga chapter 53, gantz used the word homo for that guy Masanobu Hojo, the guy who is popular and a model or wutever but in the anime it didn't, i didn't get that joke gantz was trying to make... some of the jokes he tries to crack are funny like sadako (the girl from the ring) lol, when i first heard it i was laughing cuz it does resemble her a lot when i think about it

in the manga before he got on the bike and was offed wasn't he checking some old guy out? I think he is more bi then gay but they'd have to bring him back to confirm that theory
In the gantz manual, in his ability graph it has "likes females" and he has nothng filled in, meaning he is gay.
Actually in the Gantz Manual it says "likes males" for his special ability.
It says Ore na suki in japanese. Ore means-informal way of saying male.
If it said Onna instead which means female/woman then that would he would be gay.
So if the graph says likes males on a scale of 1-5 & says 0 then it would mean he doesn't like guys.
Also look at the part with Sadako before both of them die on the Budda mission he said he wanted to she her face because he likes it. Meaning he thought she was pretty and as their being killed they decide to kiss each other before it all ends. I don't think a homosexual male is going to want to kiss a girl if he's attracted to males do you.
Which one is it? The other translators posted after you saying it in fact said female.

I looked this up with various dictionary's etc that I have since I used them when I was taking japanese.

I'm pretty sure the na is a particle that you use after saying a word or phrase, example like wa, no, or ga.
suki-means like.
I looked up all every variation of male and female and all other female & femine words start off with o-n etc. not o-r? etc.
If they manual would have changed the "re" to a "n" then it would have been o-n-na - onna and it would have said likes women/females and we wouldn't have this debate.
Plus as I said before about kissing Sadako etc. and him quitting after one of his male bosses came on to him. Makes more sense that he is not gay. Gantz is probably making fun of him for being a male model, what guy says I'm going to be a model when I grow up. He doesn't act femine but most people would think a male model is gay because of sterotypes.
