Thread: Question about Gantz ANIME plot.

Just finish watching Anime series, and I have a few questions about Anime Plot.

I know that last chapter in Anime has nothing to do with Manga main plot, but I still want to know the reason.

My question is.....
1. Did kurono survive ? can he comeback to normal life cause I don't understand why he is transfer back to the train station and what's the point to stand in rail and BANG BANG the train ????

2. If he can get out, so what's the point to collect 100 points, since there is another way to get out of this maze anyway ????

3. Does old woman at the station has anything to do with Gantz ? what is she trying to tell koruno ?

4. In anime, does Kishimoto like Kurono a little ?
Cause it seems to me that she has some feeling about Kurono.

5. And the last question, how do you like the last episode? I mean chapter 22-26 after incidence at the temple. IMO it's lame, I know that the maker has to find some way to finish the series but IMO the last episode doesn't fit with the main plot.

The anime made shit up. Read the manga.

1. dont think kurono survived, gantz cant revive whoever so i think gantz revived kurono at the station just so he could be killed

2. i dont think the anime ever addresses the 100 point thing (its been a while since i last saw it though so i might be wrong)

3. i think the creator added the woman as some bs thing to make us fabricate something up about her

4. i dont think she had any girlfriend-boyfriend feelings.

5. last episode was not bad. it was quite a twist that kurono (i believe) ended up dying

1. Its meant to leave you hanging, so its really unknown, but most likely

2. the point of collecting 100 points is to free yourself permanently from gantz, well, at least until you die again

3. According to Nishi, shes the one that recruited Kurono, shes pretty much cheering kurono on i guess you could say

4. Kishimoto is flakey, she might like him, but in a different way that kato because i think seeing kurono fucking sei made her a little upset

5. It had its ups and downs, I liked the Blonde guy with that saved that drowning kid and the stalked girl. But i hated the kid hobo killer with a passion. But I dont like how it ended in the subway, they could've at least had him head back into the room, give a little speech about gantz and stuff, and had it end there. Leave it more open in case they did decide to continue the series.

Ohhh man, I know that .

But even it's shit, I believe that it has to be some reasons to ground it. And I like to know it.


Ps.I also read the manga, without a doubt manga is a lot better than Anime in term of plot.

The problem is that the final episode steals Cowboy Bebop's ending/theme of "Are we living within a dream?" and "If so, should we attempt to influence the dream-life or deny it to break out of it."

Personally, I think that the idea is neat but has already been done with Cowboy Bebop. As well, Gantz isn't about that.

You can tell its a Cowboy Bebop rip off, because Kurono turns around and does the 'shooting' motion at the train like Spike did at the end of Bebop. I believe that they therefore share the same fate.

in the end of the anime its was Gantz tryng to teach kurono to do thing by him self thats why they use the old lady a lot cause she was like kei all ways depending in others but thanks to what Kai toll her she learn to do things by her self and gantz its trying to teach kurono not to depend on others and in the end Kurono learn thins

This is just my own opinion but I was under the impression that the last 5-6 eps of Gantz (after the temple) was just a pointless filler, they didn't have time to fit in the next few missions that are strewn together (with Izumi coming into the picture) so they just made up the storylines themselves. The episodes felt so little like the rest of the series what with Gantz giving the evil dudes weaponry and the suits just not doing much to stop bullets; i think the whole thing is gonna be a dream sequence. Then when 3rd stage comes out it'll just start with Kurono waking up after hitting the train & carrying on with the proper storyline...heres hoping anyway

Wow, reading this I learned lots about the Gantz series.
I might just pick up the manga now, I hear that the anime series is already out
