Thread: Confused on Previous Chapters

I'm re-reading the manga after the wait, and I am getting topics fresh back into my mind. So far I made it up to the dino mission and I got a Q..

Chapter 141 Kei points X-Rifle at Dino, clicks trigger(s) and says "Damn I can't do it" then points it again, shooting and it's head explodes. What did that mean, he couldn't lock on with the X-rifle? (I did a search and I seen no topic for this)

I will be posting other Qs on here as I go through.

At first aim, he can't shoot it cause the old man told him not to do (cause it's grass eater or something).

But in 2nd aim (on page 12-183) I think translation is wrong cause he only said "It's" and "Ummm..." but I also have the original manga (local version that translated and sold in my country), in original manga, he said something like "well you listen to me, that dinosaur is......" and BOOM head explode.

IMO he tried to explain to the old man that that dinosaur is NOT harmless but he accidently press the trigger when he point the gun to it.

I see, yeah the "umm"s threw me off, making me think like the lock on didn't work on X-Rifles or something.
