Thread: Who shouldn't die in Gantz

I think Reika and the old guy shouldnt die. I just feel for them more than i do feel for Kurono. I could care less if Kurono died. Lol. What do you guys think?

I definitely don't want to see the old man die, I like him, he doesn't deserve to be annhilated.

As for Kei Kurono, well the old Kei, I kinda wanted him dead cause he frustrated the hell out of me, but now that he is kinda like picking up on Katou's vibes with the whole making sure everyone survives and protecting innocents, I want him to live, to prove that his new ideology makes a difference within him.

Reika? I don't really know. Her being infatuated with kei makes her a character that needs to survive to be developed, but I don't think I am gonna give her my vote on looks alone. The one chick early on in the manga that was kei's first girlfriend (and "first") was someone who I didn't want to see dead but I knew it was gonna happen and I think it was good for the story. And I don't think Reika ranks above her, at least not yet anyway.

ya this is pure irony, the author leads us completely unsuspecting and unsure. there are too many possibilities. reika could survive and become kei's new lover, tei gets revived, old man doesnt die, reika dies, muscle dude dies, maybe even iz dies now THAT would be a HUGe twist since we need him as the arch enemy of kei. man imma stop this cause it confusing my pitiful brain -.-

I don't think the "Buddha Massacre" is going to happen again though. That played it's role, just by looking at us I can tell that, because now we are expecting cool characters that we like to die left and right. There is a certain sense of grim reality in that.
