Thread: Who shouldn't die in Gantz

Thats what makes Gantz interesting to me though. Even if i think there are holes which i know you beg to differ, its still interesting. Im not lloking for a debate on that so please dont say im wrong. You can say you disagree. Hehe. I still dont want reika to die. Shes a nice person. Plus she's hot.

Seriously, I kinda like Reika too, because she's has a vested interest in kei. (The new Kei, I call him [Katou]Kei). But I just think a second massacre wouldn't serve much point now. I really hope he doesn't go and kill everyone at the same time again. That would suck.

Sorry if you think I am dogging you on everything. You keep pointing out these plot holes and I am desperate for there not to be any, because I like this manga and I don't want to think the manga author is a lazy bum who can't write a decent story without needing to magically remove plot obstacles.

But nobody's perfect, he's bound to screw up somewhere. Here's to hoping you don't notice it! :P

however a second massacre is possible, but it looks like if Reika survives, then the whole old bunch will survive; if she dies, everyone in the old group will die, but kurono will survive with the kid, because the general dude saves him....

just my random thoughts, haha

I think the kid will die. He's just dead weight yknow? The general dude is prob gonna just try to save him but fail.

They've pretty much killed off the two people I didn't want dieing in Gantz. Ever since the Buddha incident it just hasn't been the same. I miss Katou and Kei

Thus they were sacrificed to make Kei an even better character.

I still think most of the characters are shallow though. I cant really emote with any of them. You know thats right when we dont care whether they die or not.

I'd like to see all the people who didn't side with kurono when tae was being hunted be killed...... by Izumi! oh that would be sweet.... oh and Izumi could sacrafice the panda to save himself from say..... an acid attack. but i am rooting for cherry and Reika. It would be sad to see one of the only guys who can fight without a suit be killed and Reika just seems to be a different character than the other girls in this series.

Basically: keep cherry, Reika, the old man, and kurono. oh and Izumi cause he's evil. kill the others in a heart-wrenching fasion....

And yeah I kinda like Reika now, she's sort of different from the other chicks that have shown up.
