From 74 to 77 was diffused with the Japanese TV a "live" series educational putting in scene robots entitled "Ganbare, Robocon!" (Courage Clings, Robocon!).
These robots were supposed to learn the good uses and the social rules of the Japanese everyday life.

Well, that is amazing. And I would believe it, seeing as how everything in GANTZ is based on several aspects of Japan. From the stereotypes to the media. Just look at the Suzuki aliens, Golgo 13 in the Buddha mission, and the Kappe alien, among hundereds of other stuff.

I think this is one of the many things that makes this manga so awesome.

And I still want to know what a Countryside General is.
