Thread: Chapter 98

Currently started reading Gantz again yesterday, everyone just died fighting the Buddahs. I hated seeing his girlfriend die, currently watching him get jumped by the muscle bound white conehead looking dudes. No need to ruin it for me but please tell me he toughens up. I mean he is really acting like a pussy, talking big, then when it is time to kill the alien whimps out.

He does, big time. And it all happens with an nice transition too. In the later chapters when he really starts to kick ass, you think back to him during the earlier missions, and his growth as a character comes to light.

Its one of the better things about Gantz.

But when I read Gantz, Kei already already powered up for the Buddha mission, and after that he got a lil depressed.


Character development is nice in the manga.

Cool I watched the anime and thought it was great but I guess they lost funding or something. I am currently reading about the Shinjuku Massacre, and he is kind of toughening up. LOL.

Yeah his development as a character pretty much starts when Izumi shows up. He starts learning a bit in the next mission.

The Anime is really shit. Only likeable if you already really enjoy Gantz IMO.

I just finished the chapter where he got his memory wiped, if he goes back to Taye I am going to be SO PISSED. F that girl go with Reika.

You know Katou is cool and a pretty good hunter but his saving civilians crap is quite tiresome, reminds me of Tousen and his justice talk. Plus for all the civilians he is trying to save he sure doesn't take action often, he is doing a helluva lot of watching in Osaka, while there crazy members are getting killed.
