I thin the bosses pics were taken from the manga to add some 'feeling' to the trailer.

I wonder will they mention Katasptrophe in some way. Or it will be a completely separate work, like anime.

They have the Onion, Buddha, Tanaka Aliens, and the Vampires. And scenes of Tae's death. If those scenes were from both movies and not just the first, then they may probably go up to the Oni mission and end with Kurono leaving, Tae resurrected, and Nishi brought back.

I could see the second movie using the countdown timer as a cliffhanger. The newly resurrected Nishi remains in the room after everyone leaves and he speaks the word "Katastrophe", then the audience has a close up of the countdown.

I suspect that the Ringu and the Shorty Aliens will be cut out, as Tae's role in the story line can be altered without them.

The new trailer is making the movie look good. Seems like they did the transfer nicely. And the Buddha's look good too.

i doubt it. i think they used actual pics of a body to get this effect.

i recall some project in which a dead body was sliced into countless segments from head to feet and they somehow scanned them all. the result was looking pretty much like here, only in b&w.

If Gantz movie makers have indeed obtained such b&W pics, simply coloring them red wouldn't make it feel realistic. so perhaps they decided to screw realism and make it more flashy and SFXey.

still, it looks much better then i expected.

It looks more like a CT scan was overlayed onto her body. Oddly her boobs seem x-ray proof.
