Shin couldnt believe that Maikeru could still be standing after something like that, he couldnt see any brain in his head, just those bugs crawling inside his wound.

"Ugh... brain bugs..." Shin mumbled to himself under his breath. The bugs needed some hive and guessing the building didnt have it in there, just the bug bodies that rushed out, Shin came to the conclusion that Maikeru's head was probably some kind of replacement.

The problem was that Shin couldnt just blast Maikeru without telling the others. Maikeru was one of the kind innocent kids of the hunting group and Shin himself found the kid's kindness a breath of fresh air. He had to let someone else know without bringing attention to himself before he moved.

Looking around, he saw Tomoe-san was probably the best one to tell. He'd let Keiko and Dino know, but they were busy picking themselves up after Mr Pink's attack.

    Shin stays where he is, but feigns being pinned not to get Maikeru Alien's attention then shouts out;

"Tomoe-san, please come over here! I need some help!" while waving his free arm in a rather urgent beckoning motion to let her know something was up.

(ooc: don't have access to a pc to update. Updating from my mobile, so it might be short.)

"Kya!" mentions Takezo, as if it were part of a manga, as he brings the sword down on one of the aliens. Almost enjoying every bit of the fight. He does however miss one of his targets, but it doesn't matter at the moment. It was clear that his emotions, which he usually surpressed were getting to him. He knew, it was always his weakness... Countless times where his emotions would get the best of him made him sloppy. Most times he would keep himself in check, usually thinking about his dead mother. This time it was different, it seemed that the one thing that was holding him back was now gone.

It didn't matter to Takezo now, there was a part of him that felt free with nothing holding him back. He swung sword again at the alien that he missed, laughing at excitement without much thought in his mind.

Keiko opens her eyes, lying face down amongst debris. Her mind reels for a moment, wondering if she's just woken up from a nightmare. She struggles up to her elbows to survey the scene around her, brushing chunks of plaster and dirt from her hair. She looks around herself, faintly aware of just being thrown across the floor, but not sure by whom or for what.

She looks about the floor for her weapons, hoping they didn't fly too far from her.

ooc: The last update was a week ago so it should be time to write another one. But I don't think it's needed right now. While I appreciate you not making a jump to the makeiru/alien discovery, I didn't think it would take this long (Takezo got a little sidetracked, when he was on his way).
Right now ikari is trying to make the move and I don't wanna disturb that. Also we have just one attack from the gantzer side (non npc) so far, and they aliens have already dealt some good damage. I think I'll give you a breather right now and not have the remaining bug-bodies attack, besides the Takezo action. Then you can move the figuring out part along.
And if you have trouble and you want me to let makeiru reveal it himself, just say so. I feel it wouldn't be realistic for this alien, since it's relying more on stealth and indirect fighting. And if it would've picked a moment to do it, it probably would've done it when all the 8 bug-bodies were still there, not when they're almost beaten. But I could live with inconsistency if it helps move things forward.

Keiko, still a little dizzy is able to locate her two firearms, lying on the ground nearby. She isn't able to see her sword however. Naturally it should be closeby, so she can find it if she looks closer. In case she wants it back.

Having cut down his first enemy, Takezo wants to take on the second with his deadly blade. But as he turns to face his enemy, his foot gets snagged on something, unable to move further. Looking down, reveals it to be one of the bug-bodies arms he had just cut down, holding on to him. The next moment, the other body is next to him, but all he does is put his extended fist on Takezo's shoulder. It immediately swells up at the shoulder and the arm begins to enlarge in a big wave. Like Popeye's arm after eating spinach or a water hose getting pumped up in an old cartoon.
Just that it's larger, because all the bugs making up the other arm are drawn into this one. The "bubble" reaches the fist and the massive bug fist does it's own rendition of the one inch punch, called the zero inch punch. (ooc: if you've read the part in naruto where sasuke gets yuugo out of his cell and yuugo attacks him in his cs2 form, you'll get the idea behind)
Takezo is knocked away a couple of feet and has quite the ringing in his ears.

Tomoe hears Shin's call for help and runs to him glad to have some sort of group cohesion.
On the way there she stops to gape at Takezo knocked away by the giant bug fist.

She resumes running toward Shin in a better mood than before seeing Takezo hurt. As such, she feels able to joke around with Shin...at least for the moment.
"Where's Shino Aburame when you need him, eh?"

She puts her back to Shin's and begins laying down covering fire behind him.
The idea of making sure Takezo doesn't survive the mission gnaws at Tomoe as she debated discussing it with Shin.

Shin smiles a bit warmly towards Tomoe's Naruto reference and call back to when the hunt started. It seemed that she, out of the non-noob hunters, actually listened and got him, which gave Shin some relief given the circumstances. He always felt better amongst people he could let his otaku side hang out.

"Theres more bugs here than Alucard at Level 1!" yelled Shin in a response of otakuness. Yeah, Hellsing was from Young King Ours, not Shonen Jump, but he preferred reading the Young mags to the Shonen ones... too much of the heroes hyperventilating and standing round recently...

Shin turns again as he places some suppressing fire on the bugs and goes close to Tomoe's ear so no-one else could hear. To others it may seem like Shin had some feelings to profess due to the hopeless situation, but thats exactly what he wanted the Maikeru-Alien to think. Shin's lips move close to Tomoe's ear in a deliberate use of invading personal space to disguise his intent.

    Shin whispers directly into Tomoe's ear;

"Tomoe-san, please look at the back of Maikeru's head... and stay calm..."

When Tomoe loosened herself from Naomi's grip, the girl was irritated at first. She didn't want to wait for the others, didn't want to care about them when most of them would die anyway and most certainly wouldn't listen, if they hadn't done so until now. She wasn't a leader and had no intention of becoming one. Part of her wanted to fight without having to care about anything else, the other one wanted Tomoe close-by, to help each other and get through this mission in one piece.

She actually just wanted to turn around and call out for her, but she saw something right then, something that shocked her. She walked next to the others, at first, then slowed down, fell back... and realized what she thought she had seen: The strong one of the three men who had turned her life into this living nightmare. In the confusion that followed, nobody seemed to notice that she had run off. The thought alone that it could have been him, jogging past them only a couple of meters away, was blinding her with fury, once her brain had processed the thought.

Naomi ran, looking out in every direction, but whenever she thought that it might be him, it was just some other schmuck in a jogging suit who wouldn't let a shower keep him from staying in shape. The thought of losing him without any indication of who he was or how she could find him was unbearable and even when she had to admit that he got away, she spent several more minutes checking every alley where possibly or impossibly could have disappeared in.
The crashes, explosions and sirens in the distance didn't reach her conscious mind, even if they weren't drowned by the rain.

Finally, Naomi stopped and angrily slammed her fist into the wall next to her. Nobody was around to hear the thud and soft crackles that it caused. Her mind wished for somebody, something to take her anger out on. She wanted a hunt, an enemy... and eventually, it hit her. She remembered: This was a mission. Over her obsession, she completely forgot about the aliens they were supposed to hunt. Almost panicked by the thought that something might have happened already, that some might already be dead, she took out her control device to find the map frozen, still showing all of them gathered in one place and a single red dot far away from them; the timer showed that a little over 25 minutes had passed since the clock started.

She was at a loss. This part of Tokyo was completely unknown to her and it was impossible to tell where on the map she was, by now, or where the others were, for that matter; not to mention the aliens.
But those buildings there... She tried to recall what buildings she had seen in the distance, from where they started. Maybe...
Looking around, of course, Naomi couldn't see any of them, at that moment. The girl started running to keep her legs occupied and maybe close the gap to the others by sheer luck, while keeping an eye open for anything that gave her a hint where she needed to go.

((OOC: There you go. To be determined by the GM is, whether Naomi finds them really quick and joins them immediately or gets lost and needs another post before she can get into the fight.))

ooc: What do you know! Another way I came up with the other day to speed up the revealing of makeiru's demise, works equally well for Naomis problem. And btw. Creative way of explaining her "missed time".

Back in reality after chasing figments of her imagination through the streets of Tokyo, Naomi now runs around looking for her team. As it happens on the ground level in a city, it's hard to get a clear overview of the surrounding area. As Naomi comes to a big intersection she looks around. In the west, she can see what was once the base of a big construction crane. But where a metal structure would normally rise into the sky, only bent and tattered metal can be seen. Not something you're normally able to see, and certainly fishy.
One of the firsttimers riding on a bicycle, coming from the opposite direction also seems to be heading there. Naomi knows that running in the wrong direction would delay her quite a lot, which in turn could mean the death of others, maybe even Tomoe. Naturally she's unsure about what to do. Take this, what seems to be an obvious hint, risking to be wrong? As she ponders, suddenly a single ring emits somewhere on her body, which is a first even for this veteran. The same sound emits from the firsttimer though (and every other hunter on the field for that matter). Turns out it came from the psp.
Naomi hits the button and the map pops up, not showing an error anymore. It shows that the team is really near the base of the crane, and that the alien is right there with them.
She can either try to run there with or without the suit, hotwire a car if she has this skill, get a bicycle like dash or simply take his *gg* (a npc won't mind to much and it'd be funny).

(ooc: I'm too lazy to post a map for such minor differences. Naomi is were Dash is on the last map, that's all.
How accurate is the radar? Enough to figure out Makeiru is standing were the alien should be in relation to the other people, right? That should help Shin convince the others.

Crane... destruction... death. Of course, this mission would take its toll on the innocent. Every mission did. Was anybody around the construction site, anybody who wasn't involved but horrified by the explosions that were sure to be seen all over?
Naomi remembered her first mission, when Tomoe had taken care of her and carried her half-dead, almost limbless body around. She, Naomi, had shot everything in their wake with her X-Gun, killed a couple of aliens... and at least a dozen more people who were just bystanders; wrong place, wrong time. Tomorrow, this would be all over the news, along with speculations about... god knows what crap.

Who cares? I've got something to do. It doesn't matter what's gonna be written tomorrow, or if people die. They're outsiders. They don't know. She started to run. Naomi had no idea about how to drive a car and didn't really care about the unicycle, either. She felt more agile on her feet, tapping into the suit's energy, running, jumping, in full control, adrenalin and endorphines pumping through her veins in anticipation of the battle. She wanted to find Tomoe and help her, maybe even help some of the others, too, if they weren't complete assholes like Andre. But most of all, right then, she wanted to kill something. The incident on the school's roof had triggered a blood lust in her that she hadn't known until then. Her aggression was beyond anything she had faced before, and somehow, she enjoyed it, didn't spend any conscious thought on understanding or analyzing it. She just wanted to let go, let it carry her through this day, this second mission in a row, without having to think about it.

((OOC: I'm not 100% sober anymore, today, so forgive me any mistakes I've made and also the length of the post, or rather the lack thereof. Just wanted to get something in when I was sure that I had the time. ))

Takezo fell back onto the ground a few feet from where he last stood. The ringing in his ear hurt him well enough to snap him out from his frenzied state... however his thoughts still hadn't caught up from the empty void, which was previously filled with his over stimulated emotions. "...what exploded?" whatever it was it had sent him down and the man was dazed from the attack. Like having a hangover, he sat up from where he landed and tried to piece everything that had happened a few moments ago.

"... f_ck... f_ck...," cursed Takezo as he sat there remembering what had just happened and having realized that his emotions had got the better of him once again. Takezo had always tried to keep himself in check always knowing that when ever he gave way to it, this always went bad for him. IT was a lesson that he still couldn't learn. He felt a shiver in his body while his hands started to shake. He knew well what was happening,... it was the after effect of the attack that just hit him, it was his guilt. "...no,... not now..." It was his promise, a promise never to let himself go to his emotions, a promise which he so easily forgot moments ago.

"... i'm sorry,... i'm sorry..." he mumbled, as he fumbled though his pockets. After a while Takezo finally realized that the most precious item was missing. The only thing that really mattered to him, his mother's lighter. "Where is it?..." he thought as he continued to pat himself down for any signs of the lighter's small shape. Failing to find it he scans the area around him, looking for his item, ignoring everything else; the others, the aliens and the danger that was all around him.

(OOC: Errr... no actions for me, this week. Takezo is just sitting around for this round.)
