Thread: Gantz RPG Mission 04

OPPORTUNITY.

"Never miss out on an opportunity." That was the only thing good lesson that Takezo's father (the b@stard) ever taught him and right now, in front of was on he couldn't afford to miss. Just beyond the wrecked fire truck stood the annoying guy who tried to kill him (another b@stard) but this time the pervert wasn't with him anymore. The truck which came crashing into the bike sent the pervert flying. To make things even sweeter, the annoying guy seems to be distracted by the hospital guy (annoying @ss). Takezo almost laughed when the annoying guy decked the hospital guy in the face sending him to the ground.

OPPORTUNITY.

Takezo smiled as he got up from behind the wrecked car which he had taken cover. With the annoying guy facing hospital guy, good strike from behind would be the best option for him and Since that he was cloaked there would be less chance of the annoying guy to block his hit. Take him down before the perv come back. Having decided his choice of action, Takezo ran forward powering up his suit for a powerful punch.

As Shin was sent to the ground and heard the Gaijin yelling he knew he must have been hit by him but he didnt feel anything except for the push to the ground. Shin grinned... soon that grin spread like it would split his face his teeth showing as his eyes widened as they focused on the big guy infront of him.

Shin shuddered as adrenaline pushed through and he couldnt hold it anymore; he began laughing, not a giggle or guffaw but a pure horrifying laugh, almost primal like the Monkey King freed from his mountain.

"HAHAHAHA! THIS SUIT... THIS SUIT IS INCREDIBLE! THAT ALL YOU GOT?! THIS IS AMAZING!"

Shin's adrenaline pumped eyes looked over the Gaijin and saw he had an xgun, while Shin had all kinds of hurt he could inflict. His body was trembling he was so happy. Keiko had slipped out of his head now, as did Dre and any other person except for his brother infront of him. Shin could barely walk up to the Gaijin he was shuddering so hard with adrenaline-boosted hysterics at the power he had right now. Keeping his gantzsword by his side he readied it for his Battousai strike as he stepped up right into the Gaijin's face.

"I DIDN'T FEEL A THING! HEAR THAT YOU YANKII SCUM, CHIMNEY!!! WHERE ARE YOU, HUH?! I DIDNT EVEN FEEL IT!!!"

Shin's hysterical face briefly changed to that of rage as he strikes at Ryu with his gantzsword from the draw, focusing his adrenaline into his suit to try and make the strike enough to cut Ryu in half.

The good Doctor continued at a steady pace towards everyone.

With her invisibility on Tomoe follows the dead woman being carried away by the bugs.
She pats Sean on the shoulder as she passes him to let him know where she was. Following or not was entirely up to him.

Tomoe wished she had the ability to lead. She wasn't brave enough, or smart enough and as much as she hated to admit it, not humane enough.
All she wanted was for someone to come with her.

She watches the bugs carry the woman's corpse and waits for an opportunity to strike.

8 months ago continued;

"Found you," Emi smiled at Shin, looking up at him as he sat on the wall outside the Rags Room Acid, "You ok?"

Shin looked down at his feet and back up at Emi; "Yeah..."

Emi boosted herself on the wall sitting next to Shin. Shin nervously shuffled a little away from her, which Emi responded to by shuffling a little closer to him.

"Now now, Shin-O, Ive known you for... seven years now? You wanna talk about it?"

"...I'm ok" Shin looked back down at his feet.

Emi forcefully pushes his chin up so hes looking at her eye-to-eye. She pushes her face closer to his. Her voice turns softer as she closes towards Shin;

"... really?"

For a second Shin leans in towards her and the pair close their eyes...

"HEY SHIN-O!!! You here? They've shut the doors so we cant get back in!"

A familiar voice breaks the moment; its Ryuichi coming towards the pair. Shin and Emi instantly push away from each other and Shin hops off the wall.

"Hey, Ryu, we're over here!" Shin waves his arms to get his attention, not noticing Emi blushing as she lowers herself from the wall.

That night the three get a pizza and share a taxi back to their two houses. With Ryu and Emi seeing Shin split with his gf this would be the first time they witness Shin bottle his feelings, waiting to be unleashed on one poor unlucky soul.

Dr. Wakahisa! Yes? You shouldn't doze off like that Dr. Wakahisa.
Just reminiscing. What's this?All there is to see is chaos amongst angels and demons Dr. Wakahisa.
They have no order, no organization. They fight amongst themselves even in the face of true evil. Typical human nature. I am sorry to think that you do not get a man's most effective criticism until you provoke him. Severe truth is expressed with some bitterness. What will you do Dr. Wakahisa?

(ooc: flipping a coin.)

It's amusing and I have no intention of interfering.

The man in the doctor's coat slowly accelerates to turn the bike around then begins heading east and away from the civil war.

Tomoe/Sean:
Tomoe comes out behind the garbage container after the body has passed her. There is no sign that the bugs reacted in any way to her presence. Either they don't care, or couldn't notice her because of the engaged stealth function. After deciding to inform Sean, she darts out of the alley back to the street, where Sean is standing. His eyes are still glued on the intersection where the accident took place. He appears to be in shock about the horrible event that took place. Or could it be the one taking place now? She doesn't know if he can feel the touch of her hand on his shoulder, but she doesn't have time to worry. Tomoe immediately turns around to head after the body. She runs down the alley and makes a right where the body had done the same. She's in another small alley that's even longer. The body has a good lead due to Tomoe's detour, but it's moving slow so she can easily get close whenever she wants. She follows the body keeping 50 feet distance when she suddenly notices a big pile of garbage bags up ahead, that's in a lot of movement and making strange sounds.

Shin/Takezo/Ryunosuke/Andre:
Takezo, watching the little scuffle between his two enemies, choses this as the most opportune moment to strike. Big blue veines appear on his legs, and just as Ryu turns around to get his brother, the concrete beneath Takezo's feet is destroyed by the force of his take off.
Even though Andre is a big guy lodged in a pocket of deformed metal, getting him out is an easy task with the help of the suit. Ryu simply forces the metal out of his way and lifts Andre out, while Shin goes on behind his back about the amazing suit. Ryu is much to focused on his brother to even realize the danger he's in. He put's Andre on the ground, sitting him up against the car, before he squats down infront of him. He hasn't noticed that Shin has stepped up to him and is now looming over him, while he slaps the face of his brother, "Snap out of it Dre!".
Shin stands behind him like Himura Kenshin before using the batto-jutsu technique Amakakeru Ryu no Hameki of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu, as he screams his last lines. Ryunosuke now takes notice of his presence but is stopped from turning around by his brother, who's mouth opens, saying in a faint groaning tone "What's with all the yelling?". Andre opens his eyes and sees his brothers concerned looking face. He can see it beginning to change to a relieved look, with a smile forming around the mouth. But just as his brother begins opening his mouth to say something, his face muscles and jaw start to move in an unnatural way. His face begins to deform much like Mr. Smith's in the last Matrix movie, as his head begins to move to the side. His body is pulled along with it, only to reveal Shin standing there swinging his sword, who's also more than surprised by the turn of events.
Ryu's head suddenly turns and he falls out of the way. The sword misses him and instead cuts into the car just above Andre's head, who sitting there with his eyes wide open. The blade easily cuts through the car with Shins activated suit and leaves the metal as he continues his swing, when it suddenly hits something in midair.
Electric bolts appear around the area for an instant, as Takezo is grazed on the right shoulder by the katana. It has cut through the suit into his flesh a bit, but the damage is minimal. It does however stop him from persuing Ryu with a follow-up attack, because his left hand reaches for the wound in a reflex. Shin is still looking at the spot where the flashes had been when he hears a loud roaring voice coming from right next to him, "What the f_ck did you just do, kiddo?". Andre isn't even concerned about his brother as he stands up, the anger clearly visible on his face.
Several feet away, Ryu comes to stop after the powerful attack. He looks back a bit dazed, to see who attacked him, but only Shin and Andre are there. Remembering what his brother had told him about going stealth, he takes out the psp and starts to play around with it.

Keiko/Wakahisa:
Keiko who had turned her attention toward the scene after hearing Shin screaming, has seen everything.
Behind her, on the other side of the wreck, the good doctor isn't interested in any of this. All the fighing and the screaming wounded, are not what he's looking for,so he heads down a narrow alley. The bike is knocking over trash can's left and right as he had's down the road slowly, when the doctor suddenly sees something move in the dark shadows of a fire-escape, from the corner of his eyes.

Recapping;
As Shin swings at Ryu he notices something invisible smash into Ryu's face and knock him under his swing and about five feet away to his left.

As Shin tracks the swing he manages to send it over Dre's head (who suprisingly, he had little problem with to swing at, at this point) and slicing through the car Dre was set against feels he his gantzsword smash into something invisible.

Flashes of electricity sparkle the air as Shin sees his gantzsword lodged in Takezo's shoulder. "Heh, a cheeky bonus..." Shin thought to himself as he grinned like the cheshire cat.

The cogs in Shin's mind get working as the target of his berserk rage has now been replaced with two angry guys who were bigger than him. Shin pulls his gantzsword from Chimney's shoulder mercilessly. Shin seems to be ignoring Dre's justified yelling.

Shin knew even though he was faring better, he couldnt fare well against two potential attacks and luckily Ryu was more bothered with attaining stealth to be an immediate threat anymore. Shin realised Chimney will be likely to attack any second so there was only one solution;

Shin unholstered his ygun and pointed it at Dre;

"Shut up you big yankii! Just stay here!" Shin retorted to Dre and pulled down both triggers of the ygun, firing a net at him at point blank range.

Ryunosuke:

Hearing Shin talk, Ryu quickly looks up from the gantz psp and shoots a look in their direction. Before he diverts his attention to his surroundings and the psp again, he can see Shin taking out a gun and pointing it at Dre. That punk has really gone over the deep end, it seems.
Sure, the suits really were amazing. It was hard to miss that fact, after what had happened to him at the accident and just now. But Shin seemed to have forgotten one important thing, or maybe he was too far gone to realize it. He was not the only one wearing a suit. With all of them wearing it, it was as if no one was wearing it. It came back down to their personal fighting skills, at least when fighting hand-to-hand. Did he really think that a little punk like him could simply dispose of Dre, who fought for a living? Ryu couldn't judge if Dre was gonna go after his life for real or if he'd simply beat him to a pulp. Either way, he'll look horrible when he get's back to his little princess.
But right now, there was no time to think about that in detail. Until Ryu would be able to level the playing field, by also going stealth, he'd not feel comfortable. It was like walking through the jungle, knowing that the enemy waiting in ambush, blended into the surroundings perfectly. You feel watched, but no matter how hard you try, your eyes won't find anything. There's no way that it doesn't affect you, by sending a chill down your spine. Ryu can feel it, so he can't concentrate solely on the psp. He constantly looks up from it, to look in a different direction, as if that was going to help. But there's no way to fight a fear, unknown to you. Since looking up doesn't comfort him very much, he also unholsters his gun with his free hand.


OOC: I never said that Shin fails in cutting Andre's head off on his accord, actually. But I'll give it to him.

First strike went in hard. Takezo's follow up with a second... stopped... no, denied. His arm was slashed as he went in for a second attack. He held his wound as blood dripped down his arm, looking at the cause... who was no other than the 'annoying @ss'. B@stard, he cursed. There was nothing more that Takezo wanted to do to this @ss than to give him a good beating but there was still 'another b@stard' to take care of.

The 'another b@stard' was busy fiddling with controller, Takezo immediately assumed that he was about to go ghost which meant that the odds of him coming out at the top would be slimmer. He couldn't let 'another b@stard' do that, Takezo had to take him down before his frequency changed. Takezo powered up his suit once again and charged at him, hoping that he could take him down with a body tackle. Once grounded, the controller would be his next target.
