Appearance: haircut short, small nose, light sideburns that attach to his slightly shaved beard; has a gentle face with deep penetrating eyes. Comes to the room wearing converse sneakers,blue jeans and a white long sleeve shirt;despite his frail appearance, he has excellent muscle tone.

Strengths: Sean is able to think clearly even in the most extreme situations. in his free time he takes karate and kendo lessons.

Weaknesses: his carefree attitude makes him habitually oblivious to a lot of harsh realities. Sometimes has the tendency to daydream and let his mind wander. He now has a weakness for one of the veterans: Tomoe.

Personality: Cool, calm and carefree. Sean is your basic quiet, down to earth, lighted kind of guy. He is the type to be the life of the party but at the same time be a wallflower when he wants to. He has a very adaptive personality that allows him to relate to different people on different levels. Sometimes he can be stern and outspoken or lighthearted and a joker.

Background: Sean is the newest intern to a fast-paced international advertising company located in Japan. His lighthearted, carefree attitude has made him well liked by supervisors and co-workers that sometimes they playfully call him "Gaijin" or stranger due to the fact he is the only American working there; surprisingly this does not bother him. He doesn't have much of a social or love life due to his job. Due to slight culture shock he only goes out when his co-workers go out. overall he is a well liked person. He now tries to accept the reality of his "new" situation: killing aliens for points and tries to figure out his feelings for Tomoe and if they are real or not; Sean wants something to happen but at the same he is not holding his breath.

Cause Of Death: Being well liked at work has created some enemies at his job; His good friend is one of them. Digging through Sean's medical files allowed him to know that Sean is severely allergic to peanuts. He takes him out to dinner where he spikes his food with a lot of peanut oil. After one bite he is dead in minutes. He immediately leaves to "get help" and doesn't see him being transported to the room.

Personality - Antisocial (as in geeky rather than cold, think Near from Death Note). Quiet. Generally shies away from action. Initially the kind of person to talk their way out of a fight, but has a vengeful streak.

Background - Ikari is a quarter English college drop-out who has wandered through life since his mother passed away. He has little wants in life and now generally "waits for god". His fake last name is from his fave anime character . He changed his name as he doesnt get along with his father who left him (and as since Shin has taken revange against) and his mother when she was ill. His last moments were being taken into hospital to remove a lump. On being told that he may not survive the operation, he wishes that if he survives he will tell the girl he grew up with that he loves her.

Appearance: depends on when the next mission takes place (but most likely wearing the Gantz suit underneath)

Strength: She was trained in karate for several years, so she has good agility and stamina, while her increasing experience with the suit raises her strength. She can act smart and instinctively, though, lately, she decides more with gut instinct.

Weakness: Condescending looks and jokes about sex (or anything else that reminds her of her way of dying) trigger hatred inside her. She is madly looking for revenge on her violators (unless she gets the chance before this mission).

Personality: During the last missions, she became very attached to Tomoe and developed in the short time span of the mission an almost sister-like relationship to her, so that she is the only person she really trusts. She doesn't really care about the other people in the room, except for Dino, because Tomoe cares about him, and Andre, who she despises. Acts increasingly cold due to being more and more disconnected to her surroundings.

Background: Naomi was born in Japan and lived there for the first five years of her life. With her father working for an international corporation, and being good at his work too, it wasn't that much of a surprise that they moved, leaving friends in Tokyo behind, to live in America. Naomi grew up as an American teenager, enjoying to have much freedom. But her parents, after all, were very protective and forced her to learn to protect herself, so she decided to learn karate. When she became fifteen, her father was transfered again, back to Tokyo. Naomi was shocked to have to leave everything behind again, but there was no choice for her. But after another year, just about to enter high school, her father was transfered for the theard time, now to Kyoto. That's when Naomi decided to stay, living on her own in a small apartment near her school. Though her parents give her enough money to do, whatever she wants to, she's tutoring some other students in English, three evenings a week. One evening, returning home from tutoring, she was raped by three men and killed by them, which is why she came to Gantz.

@ikari: Why'd you god mod a women into the game who was with your father and let her have sex with your character, when Shin loves the girl he grew up with?

I got my reasons for that, I mainly wanted to show a different side to Shin first of all, also at the time I really didnt see putting that girl in as a god-mod, lets just say I wont be doing it again, also why did he sleep with her when he likes another girl... well, partly a hangover from his erased memory of him getting over Emi in the hunt and also because Shin is the kind of guy to not refuse a girl when its on a plate, but I hope to write more on that in future posts.

Appearance: Slim, sun kissed skin, looks more Russian than Japanese, long wavy hair. She's wearing a sheer black tank top, black short shorts, black pinstriped tights, knee high black heeled boots, and crazy dramatic silver/black makeup for her eyes and bright red lips.

Strength: Really athletic thanks to her performing her own stunts and can use her acting skills to sway or manipulate people.

Weakness: Impulsive and Absent Minded

Personality: Very outgoing, likes to put other on the spot, enjoys making awkward moments, Self serving and self centered, Is known for her charismatic nature yet is also known for never truly getting close to anyone.

Background: Natasha left home straight out of high school to pursue an acting career. Her acting career did not get off to a good start and found herself working some less than reputable jobs. Eventually however she was able to catch a break and starred in a gritty action film, after which she became a household name.

Cause of Death: -
Natasha had been offered an opportunity to star along one of her favorite actors. She had long dreamed of working with him and jumped at the opportunity. The film was a horror in which she would play the typical "terrorized girl who manages against all odds to defeat her attacker". It was being filmed on location in Japan, having been her first time there (being raised in Russia) she was overwhelmed, so when her Co Star offered to be her guide she eagerly accepted and it didn’t hurt that she found him attractive. So, for the next few weeks her time was spent either filming or sightseeing with Robert James. One night however after returning to her room, from a day of filming, she found a letter had been slid under her door. She opened it curiously and found that it was a letter from Robert, he wanted her to meet him at a park they had been to earlier that week, he also said that he wished for them to finally have some time alone and she should lie about her plans so as to prevent people from following her. In her excitement of the prospect of being alone with him, she completely overlooked how odd of a message it was. She got dressed and headed out to meet him. When she arrived at the park and saw him, she got a strange feeling but immediately dismissed it. She went up to greet him, they began to walk, discussing the film and their pasts, suddenly Roberts topics changed to the obscene and made Natasha begin to feel very uncomfortable, she tried to change the subject but he began to go overboard suddenly he started making advances and being too pushy it resulted in a huge struggle. Natasha was able to put up quite a fight, frustrated he began to strangle her; enraged he was unable to pull back before he killed her.

^ Yay for new players. I'm thinking of starting off the mission in a week or two.

For those still in the off mission, don't worry... your characters won't beam-in yet, it'll just be the new players first. I still want you guys to enjoy the off mission arc, since you guys have waited so long for it. So what do you guys think of it so far?

All good dharma, I quickly also wanted to explain some more reasons plot-wise and other for my npc.
Firstly, the scene was in the doujin I was working on, but less fragmented and actually chronological in order.
Secondly, I wanted the now dark Shin, tormented and deserted by his own father to explain to him before his demise that Shin would "take everything that was his for his own". Coming across his old classmate in his dad's room linked to that, though I want to make it clear the whole thing was not forced (I want to make Shin an anti-hero, not a detestable villian, Shin was a victim of domestic abuse, though I have only hinted at this, for a start).
Thirdly, though the actual npc does not add to the plot parsay, she does show the change the life-or-death situation of the previous night's hunt made on Shin.

Hopefully I will get to rp this, and show that despite the one horrific act of vengeance Shin did, he is more anti-hero than villian.

^ Well i think what everyone wants to know is why Sa-chan would want to sleep with Shin. "Have everything he ever owns" by his father is a rather weak explanation. Sa-chan is a person not a thing, so maybe you'd like to explain that later. As for the npc's... hehe lets just say they have a mind of their own. Heh... you might not like what i make of them but don't worry i'll make still make you the anti-hero. Since you made Sa-chan up, as GM using her in to the max in your plots... how? you'll see BWAHAHA (play evil themed music)
