Steres rushed off pretty much as soon as Tetsuo was done speaking. Seems like he was itchin' to get away from this building, and who could blame him. But Tetsuo was not gonna leave until everything was settled. He had not forgotten the old super, who still needed to be dealt with, because of the bloodlust.

Since he wasn't keen to run into more cops either, Tetsuo quickened his pace a bit. He wasn't running down the stairs like Steres was, so it's not surprising that Steres left the stairwell at the ground floor before Tetsuo had reached the fourth floor. Tetsuo casually opened the door and walked down the hall towards Tomoe's appartment. Entering was easy with the broken door and all. He headed straight into the kitchen, where he found the tequila bottle on the counter.
There was still a decent amount of it left, probably enough for what he had in mind. He grabbed the bottle and headed out of the appartment toward the stairwell. Then down to the ground floor, where he'd look for the supers appartment.

Having grabbed the bottle of Tequilla, Tetsou heads back down looking for the supers' room. He heads down the stairs to the ground floor, there he catches a glimpse a schoolgirl holding an umbrella through the front door but doesn't see Steres though. Tetsou heads to the front desk and notices that there's nobody there, he does however notice a door behind the counter and assumes it's the supers' room. Tetsou leaps over the counter and towards the door but finds that its locked.

Seeing Tetsuo-san retrieve his weapon and placing the body in the elevator, he wondered whether the elevator would really just stay there or whether it would malfunction in some way and cut the body in half as it went down. Shaking the thought from his head, it obviously being influenced by his blood lust, he listened as Tetsuo-san told him to move on ahead and mention something about what he had said before. It seemed like a rather long time ago that they had sneaked into the apartment building in the pouring rain on a simple mission to gather information. Things get so complicated so quickly.

Heading on down, the blood leaving his surrounding area, his mind began to clear and he began to wonder why exactly Tetsuo-san had told him to move ahead. Why exactly did he have to do before he'd be able to join him? He thought that perhaps something had transpired in the apartment outside of his knowledge, perhaps someone had seen more than he should have, but all that was just conjecture. He sighed and resigned himself to having to ask Tetsuo-san when they had time, absorbing his sword and gun back into his body.

Finally reaching the bottom, he nonchalantly headed towards the door, walking out calmly as he surveyed the area. He was relieved to see no back up had shown up as of yet, only one patrol car evident in the front. As he looked around, he noticed a young schoolgirl smile at him and give take notice the patrol car, taking a pic of it with her phone and texting something to someone about it. His first thought was that perhaps this young girl had been paid off to watch the car and report if anything of anyone suspicious came out of the building but the fact that she seemed more focused on the car than Steres eased his suspicions. Still, she was stopping him from procuring the patrol car or the steamed up van for his and Tetsuo-san's get away. Realizing time was running short, he looked further up and down the street for a suitable getaway vehicle, preferably one the girl wouldn't notice him stealing, perhaps blocked off by some type of sign or item like a mailbox or trashcan. If worse came to worse, he could always take her phone and smash it.

Steres walks pass the distracted schoolgirl toward the other end of the building in seach of a vehicle to steal. As he turn the corner, which leads him back to the side with the fire escape, he notices that there are a few cars parked there. Among them is the car that they arrived in and another patrol car (with it siren lights flashing too). A few meters in the back is a old looking pickup.

When Tetsuo got to the ground floor, he found it deserted. All he could see was a young girl standing outside the entrance of the building. He didn't know Tomoe Shimada's exact age, but he figured she'd wasn't in school anymore. Steres was nowhere to be seen, so he was probably already organizing a new ride, which meant Tetsuo had to act fast too. He walked to the vacated front desk and noticed the door behind it. He looked for a name plate so he'd know the man's name, as he placed his right hand on the counter. Then he jumped over it and landed silently infront of the door.
If he wanted to force his way in, he could easily break the door down. But he'd better not do it like in the movies. There was always the chance that the super was waiting behind the door, with a gun aimed at it. It would be better to lie down infront of the door and kicking it open with his legs. He'd probably be able to shoot the super before the man could correct his aim. But Tetsuo was only gonna kill the old man as a last resort. Letting him live was Tetsuo's way of making amends for allowing the grusome act on the top floor to happen.

Trying something else first, Tetsuo put on the police cap and pulled it deep into his face while he unearthed the badge from his pocket. He knocked at the door while he reached for the doorknob. As he turned it he said in a deep tone "Hello [ooc: if there was a name plate, insert 'mr. ...'], this is the police. The situation is under control now, we have taken the burglars into custody!". Remembering the concerne for Tomoe back in the appartment, Tetsuo added "One officer has a minor gunshot wound. He told us you know the inhabitant of the appartment that was broken into. We have found the body of a young women on the roof, and need someone to confirm the identity."
He wasn't wearing an uniform and was covered in blood, a disguise that would never withstand someone with the ability to see, so this was probably a long shot. But it only needed to fool the man enough to open the door a few inches, so that Tetsuo could force his way in.

Turning the corner, he caught sight of their old car as well as a patrol car and a handful of other cars. Seeing where the other officers had come from he began to quickly take note of each car and which would suit their needs best. Most of the cars looked well cared for and in good condition, which took them off as candidates for stealing. People who kept their cars in good condition had a tendency to turn on the car alarm when left by themselves. Looking around some more, he could see on the far side of the street was an old pickup that could have used a wash. Smiling to himself, he began to make his way towards it, walking near the a patrol car.

As he walked past it, he realized if the lights were flashing, they probably neglected to turn on form of alarm on the vehicle, leaving him open to deny them transportation. Quickly extending the blade of his sword from his palm, he slashed the two tires on the street side of car, quickly moving on as the air rushed out of them leaving one side of the car lower than the other. Reaching the pickup, he went around to the driver side of the car and attempted to open it, hoping the owner was trusting enough to leave it unlocked. If not, he'd break the window and get in that way. As he did this, he hoped Tetsuo would be at the front by the time he drove up.

Having slashed the patrol car's tires, Steres walks coolly towards the old pickup truck looking much like a school kid who just did something naughty. He immediately notices that the pickup is truly a piece of junk. He tries the door hoping that the owner wouldn't be bothered to lock that piece of crap but finds that it's actually locked. Steres breaks open window and quickly gets in the vehicle without arousing any suspicion.

The inside of the pickup looks worse than the outside, it also smells just as bad. While Steres starts to hot wire the truck, he get a sinking feeling that stealing the truck might have been a bad idea. Surprisingly, the truck starts up quite easily. Steres shifts the trucks gear to drive and moves it towards the front of the apartment but as he moves he finds that the truck lacks power and speed. As he turns the corner, he notices that the schoolgirl is still standing at the same spot with one hand holding an umbrella while chatting into her cell phone. Once at the front, he notices that someone is trying to start up the van, it takes a few tries before it starts up. As it rolls out of the parking lot, the schoolgirl waves to the driver of the van. While waiting for Tetsou to show up, Steres notices the name of the apartment is painted on the side of the van as it leaves.

In the meanwhile, Tetsou who is trying to gain entrance into the janitors room, poses as a cop and tries to lie his way in but there is no response. He knocks the door again and puts his ear on the door, trying to find any proof of life in the locked room but all he finds is silence.

After he had rattled off his little performance, Tetsuo waited for a response. He knocked again after he had waited a bit, "Hello?", and listened for any sounds coming from within. He put his ear against the wall, but he couldn't hear anything, be it the sound of someone crying or moving around. Luckily he also couldn't hear the cocking of a hammer, coming from behind the door. It didn't appear as if the super was in there, not believing Tetsuo's story or just too afraid to answer.
Tetsuo made the decision to force his way in then and there. More cops were on the way and Steres would be waiting out front soon, so he couldn't play around too long, but he needed to get in this room. He grabbed the door-knob with both hands, pressed his shoulder against the door and his foot on the ground to get a good foothold, before he swung his shoulder back and smashed it on the door.

Once inside, he'll throw away the police cap and check for any mail to the super. Letters, bills, payslips and even emergency instructions on the walls. Anything that could give him the address or at least phone number of the man. The situation was still salvageable if he could get to him. Most likely he would already have testified by then, so letting him live would unfortunatley be impossible. But with the eye-witness gone, nobody could ever ID him.
Tetsuo will also look for a sink, so he can wash his face and freshen up a bit, before he'll head out the front door, stopping next to the young girl.

Steres brings the pickup truck to the front and waits for Tetsou, who hasn't showed up. As he conitnues waiting for his mentor/partner to arrive, Steres finds that the smell in the trunk is starting to overwhelm him, forcing him to unwind the truck's window. As he looks out the window he starts to see the schoolgirl, still chatting away on the phone, walking past the truck towards the entrance.

In the meanwhile, Tetsou presses himself against the super's door and gives it a nudge trying to break into the room. There's a loud audible creak but it doesn't break which prompts Tetsou to try again. On his second try, the door givesway or atleast the hinge but it's enough for Tetsou to slowly enter the room which he finds is pretty dark and damp. Tetsou switches the lights on and notices that the room is a bedroom come office. There's a single bed on one corner, facing it is a small writing desk with a big metal document cabinet. Tetsou also finds a door which leads to a small narrow toilet with a toilet man sign on it. He takes the opportunity to clean off the blood stains on his face before looking for anything identify the super.

After a quick wash, Tetsou goes beck oout from the toilet to have a look around. He starts with the desk but finds that the table is very messy stacked with unfiled invoices and work order forms. Tetsou does however find a repair bill costing $360 on a van with the license plate TOA 46-96. Tetsou immediately memorizes the plate number as he's doing so, he hears the door chime from the apartment door entrance ring.

Tetsuo's shoulder hit the door, with the result that he could hear wood starting to break. But the door needed a little more persuasion than that, so he gave it another try. When it finally gave in, he entered the room, which turned out to be a mess. Just like the appartment he had been in before. Shaking his head to vent his frustration, he decided to freshen up first. A bit of cold water seemed like a good idea right now. Maybe it could wash away his anger along with the blood on his face. After dowsing his face with a good amount of it several times, his normal face finally stared back at him, when he looked up into the mirror. His clothes had still blood on them, but it wasn't as easy to notice since they were black. His attire appeared wet, but that was hardly unusual after it had rained a short while ago.
Tetsuo headed back into the office and started looking for leads. Much to his liking, it didn't take long before he got his hands on a bill from an auto shop. The young vampire was convinced that it had to belong to the super, or possibly a co-worker, if more than one person was working here. In any case, it was exactly what he needed. Getting an address from this license plate wouldn't be too hard with the help of the vampires connections. And even if he was wrong, it wouldn't be so bad. If the car belonged to a co-worker, he could get the right address from this person. And if worse came to worst, he already knew where the old man worked. He'd show up at this place again, eventually. Tetsuo made sure to remeber this find, as the sound of the doorbell made him look up.
He was done here, so he headed for the door. Since he was naked underneath his jacket, which was highly suspicious, he buttoned it up on his way. He stepped out, closing the door behind him and could see that the school-girl, he had seen before was now trying to get in. The find in the office, as well as the fact that it seemed like this mission was about to end, improved his mood considerably, so he wanted to have a little fun on his way out.

Tetsuo quickly walked up to the door and opened it a bit, smiling at the young girl, "Hey there". With his, what others would call babyface, he looked much closer to the girls age than he really was. The fact that he was wearing a suit, would probably make her judge his age a bit higher than she'd normally do. But he was still looking much younger than 27, so he gave his voice a young sounding tone. He continued, "Wanna get out of this damn rain?" as he opened the door a bit more. Before she could respond, he let his eyes wander from her eyes to the police car that was standing near the entrance. Tetsuo swung open the door completely, pointed at the car and said with a raised voiced, "Whoah, what's this thing doing here?"

If the young girl expressed interest in the patrol car, he'd toss her the police badge that was still in his pocket as a little present, before heading for Steres, who was waiting in an old pickup truck.
