Pissed, Andre finds himself back on the busy streets of Tokyo with one thought on his mind, I'm gonna kill that mother f_cker! That's why my crew never showed up. He then pulls his hood up over his head, his ear buds in his ears and begins walking through the midday crowd. Andre's starting to doubt himself or at least his approach to his situation. I gotta focus, I gotta get my life back. After walking several more blocks Andre grows weary of the crowd and decides to hail a cab.. Andre raises his hand once again, pushes his way through the crowd and steps to the curb.

Andre gets into a cab and when the driver ask him where he wants to go Andre said "Just drive, I'll tell you when we get there." He sits back in the plush seat and looks out into the crowd. He wonders if the people have any idea of what's going on here. He wonders if any of them will suffer the same fate as him. Anyone of them could have an unfortunate accident and through no falt of their own wind up in the prefatory he's found himself in. It's worse than hell. Andre fells the sword hidden under his clothes and wonders what monstrosities he will find next time.

As the cab stops at an intersection Andre hears a ringing noise bleeding thriough the music. Then he realizes it's the device in his head. He pulls the earbuds out of his ears and sits back waiting for the transfer to start. Then Andre feels his limbs lock up. It has begun...

GM Update: (a preview of things to come)

    12:28pm
The battle was over, the assault on the Club Dark water ended as quickly as it started. Half the club was lying i what seemed to be a massive 20ft crater, with the front end of the building looking like it was brought down by a wrecking ball. Bodies were lying around the club, it's floor (what's left of it) was coloured crimson red.

A man picked himself up from the dead bodies. The man in question was Ito, a vampire. His legs were shaky after the fight, his shirt bloodied by his own blood but no injuries on him were found on him.

"Rest easy, friend. The fight's over." a voice spoke out to him from the shadows of the ruined club. Ito turned towards the dark having recognized the voice. It was Junji, his boss. Next to him was a body of a chinese man dressed in black rubber suit, a sword was planted in the dead mans eye. Junji pulls the sword out and starts to lick clean the vile crimson liquid of his weapon.

"Gather up some men, Ito" said Junji calmly "...we still have alot to do."

Sorry for the double post but can't edit... :P

Ito quickly gathers up some of the remaining survivors in the club amongst them are Tetsuo and 'Smokey' Steres. The group is small in number, barely reaching 15. They gather around Junji as Ito stands next to him.

"Brothers,... our home has been destroyed by those who have hunted with many of our kin dead (Ito lets out a small laugh. Does anyone still speak like that?) but revenge will be ours. We will take these hunters and we will kill them all... every single one of them. For now, revenge will have to wait,... there's more important matters to attend to. We have to insure that our clan will survive which makes our main priority the wounded." Junji looks at Ito and continues speaking "Ito, will brief everyone of you on what to do."

Ito then splits the group of vampires into smaller groups. Tetsuo who is paired up with Steres is briefed last by Ito. "Well, well Tetsuo... I've been monitoring your progress and i have to say that you seem pretty capable enough to handle things. Considering how things have gone today (with many of the vamps dead), you'll be taking Steres under your wing. Train him well... just like how your mentor taught you."

Ito then starts making his way out the club towards the back alley "For now i need you to follow me. Don't worry about the injured, the others can deal with it. There are other important tasks that need to be executed."

Tetsuo had no idea what had happened until he got the call to go to the club. He knew something was up when they called and told him to come asap (naturally he thought it best to follow the usual vamp dress code and wore his modified verion). But in no way was he prepared for any of this. The whole club wiped out by hunters? And on top of it all they gave him his own apprentice. He felt it was way too soon for that even or maybe especially in this situation but tried not to let it shine through. Ito would easily see right through him, but that wasn't important. He had probably made his decision knowing this. But his new partner didn't have to find out the moment they met.

After Ito's speech he started to leave the club. Tetsuo followed him "Right. It's not like vampires really need my medical skills anyways.". He turned to Steres quickly and said in a low voice "Hey there. I'm Tetsuo Otsuka. Let's just leave it at that until later, okay".
Then he tunred back, strolling behind Ito with his hand in his pockets. "You said the hunters are responsible, Ito-sensei. That's new. How many of them did all this?"
He looked around the horrible scene.
Mangled corpses and bodyparts lying around, wounded people scattered all over screaming in agony and the whole place covered in blood. At least that part was somewhat familiar and Testsuo coudln't prevent a smile, thinking about it.
In any case, the place couldn't possibly have looked worse if a bomb had explosed there. That the hunters could inflict so much damage on them, was a scary thought. Their weapons were powerful...sure, but until now they were simply hunted by vampires and meant no big threat. Not anymore, though.

The vampire, Ito, leads the pair out of Dogen-Zaka road towards a huge black van parked by the side of the road. Ito knocks on the back door of the van and is greeted by a white male Caucasian who lets the three vampires in.

The van is spacious, with much of its front packed with lcd screens and a computer. At the centre the vampire's quickly notice a tied up Japanese man. By the looks of things, the man may have been tortured. The man at the front of the van calls out to them. "So which one of you is Ito?" This prompts Ito to move forward through the computers towards the front. As Ito and the man in front talk, The white man (who opened the door) turn towards Tetsou and Steres while putting on a nervous smile. They notice that his hand is in his jacket, most probably on a weapon.

"So... you guys are vampires, huh? Errr... So do you die if someone shoots you with a silver bullet?"

Steres looked around for his blade, which had been knocked out of his hands during the previous battle. It had been quite an annoying spectacle, seeing a bunch of freaks in rubber suits burst into the club, shooting their darn exploding guns all over the place. Steres had barely managed to pour himself a drink before it went shattering into a million pieces as he dodged. Clenching his fist, he felt a sharp pain shoot through it, signaling that there was still one piece of glass in his hand. Opening his clenched fist, he found the last piece of glass embedded inbetween his fingers and pulled it out, the wound starting to heal as soon as he did.

He had been assigned a mentor, a "master" if you will. He was promptly introduced to him, where he responded with, "Sure. Name's Yamashita, if you care." Looking briefly towards one side, he finally caught sight of his sword lying underneath some rubble. He headed straight towards the glinting piece of metal, carefully extracting it from its makeshift grave. He knew he could have just integrated any other sword but he felt weird having a sword that had been inside someone else. He was comfortable with his.

He followed his mentor and Ito to the back of a van, Steres briefly nodding his head at all the computer tech in the van. He wondered what they were doing here until the man who had opened the van's door approached them nervously, a strange smile on his face and his hand in his pocket, which Steres guessed possibly contained a weapon of some sort.

"So... you guys are vampires, huh? Errr... So do you die if someone shoots you with a silver bullet?"

Steres smirked a little as he turned to face the man, him having not yet put the sword back in his body, which he held by his side. He guessed the man wasn't a vampire, seeing as he had asked such a stupid question regarding them in the first place. He decided to have some fun with the gaijin, seeing where this conversation would take them.

"I don't know. You want to find out, gaijin? I've been looking for a snack."

He was ready to respond if the man decided to shoot at them, hoping to go for a clean cut straight through his neck and spine. He probably had a gun at the ready under his jacket, but Steres wasn't too worried about it. If it was one of those exploding monstrosities, he'd be in trouble but a normal bullet wound would be far easier to heal from and if he needed blood, he'd already have a fresh kill to enjoy. He looked at the man carefully, just waiting for an aggressive reason to respond. He didn't want to kill in cold blood but if he was going to be threatened, he was going to eliminate the threat as quickly and efficiently as possible. He wondered how his mentor would take this, however.

Tetsuo wondered what this van and the people were doing here. The inside looked like the surveillance trucks you always see in the movies. He wouldn't be surprised if the side of the truck said something like "rats be gone".
But these were normal humans and they seemed to know about the vamps.
Not to mention that they had some other guy lying on the floor, that didn't look too good.

But Ito wasn't worried, so there was no reason to.

"So... you guys are vampires, huh? Errr... So do you die if someone shoots you with a silver bullet?"
The guy that had opened the door seemed to be nervous and packing a weapon. Both were understandable. He was simply scared and feeling the cold metal of the gun probably calmed him down. It gave him at least some feeling of security. You could never be sure, but the guy probably wouldn't do anything stupid. That's what Tetsuo hoped at least. For his own sake .
He wouldn't push the poor guy into doing anything, that's not why they were here. But he also wouldn't let his guard down. In case the guy was dumb enough to actually do something.

"I don't know. You want to find out, gaijin? I've been looking for a snack."
The word gaijin had stung a little, given that Tetsuo was mixed. His father wasn't japanase and in the past many people had spit this word at them. But besides the slight twitch in his insides whenever he heard it, Tetsuo had learned to live with it.

He just stood there looking at the guy with a smile on his face. Not only because of the poor attempt at small-talk, asking about how to kill a vampire. He also smiled because of the answer his new disciple had given. Not because he found it that funny, he didn't. But even in a situation like this, he could learn things about his new partner.
In this case, the answer showed him that Steres seemed to be a playful character. Not to the point were he let his guard down though. He was cautious, ready to react. Good.
But more importantly he knew he was not stupid. Steres hadn't given the enemy information about real vampires. Like that a gun can easily hurt or even kill a vampire, even if it's not loaded with silver bullets.
In that sense, the movies were good for vampires. Myths like garlic or that you must impale a vampire with a stake, worked actually in their favor. To all the people that grew up with such stories, a vampire seemed more powerful than he actually was.

If Steres really wanted to kill this man, he had himself under control for now. Another good thing.

Hmmm, why not have a little fun myself?
He looked at Steres and said "Don't tease him like that. Or do you want to wait back here after he has pissed his pants. I don't", winking at him.

That was all the fun he'd have in this situation. Better not overdo it. Who knows how easily we can push this guy into doing something stupid. Besides, this isn't the time for it. Some information is what I need now.

He turned back at the man, looking friendly "Relax, pal. We didn't come here to eat. Not to mention that we'd probably eat the guy lying on the floor, given that we seem to be working with you. Tell me, what's your job exactly?"
Tetsuo pointed at the guy on the floor "And what's his story?"

There were other things he wanted to know. Not only from this guy or Ito, but from his new partner as well, since he has there when the hunters had attacked the club.
But this wasn't the place to talk about such matters. It could wait until the were alone.

(OOC: For your info, the silver bullets was actually a sarcastic joke. They have no reference to killing vampires only werewolves.)

The man sitting in the back with both Tetsuo and Steres. Gives of a nervous smile and speaks to Steres, "Hey, take it easy buddy. Don't want to go trashing the the whole van... hehe." He then takes his hand of his weapon (is it a weapon?) and reaches slowly into his jacket pocket and pulls out a pack of cigarettes. He lights one up and offers them to the vampires. "Smoke?"

The man continues talking, "You want to know what i do, huh? Well lets just say that your boss hired us and we are the best in what we do. As for this man here... " the man stomps the japanese guy in the shoulder "... well he's some reporter we picked up earlier. Apparently he has some leads on the friends your boss hired us to look for. Ain't that right, Isigi?" ** Stomps him again **

Testuo took one and lit it with the lighter of the white man. He took two breathes before thanking him for the offer.

So the boss had hired these people to find some friends. That they worked for Ito was clear when he saw that they were mere human.
That they knew about the vampires, seemed strange to Tetsuo, but maybe that was just how Ito handled things. Or these people were just so good that it didn't matter if they knew or not. Whatever.
What mattered was their job. Ito had hired them to find the hunters. Probably even before they had attacked the club, given that it had happened just now and these guys had already leads.

Tetsuo looked down at the reporter briefly before he looked the white man in the eyes again. "Apparently? The way he looks, he should've spilled everything he knows by now. But maybe you guys just suck at torturing. Then again, you don't have 200years practice."
Tetsuo was nowhere near that age and he didn't even know if it was possible, but the white guy did neither. He was bound to believe one of the many different myths about vampires. In almost all of them, vampires were immortal.
Let him think what he wants. The more horrible, the better.

"If you didn't have something to report..." He nods towards the front of the truck."...their conversation would be much shorter."

And your life, Mr. Isigi, isn't worthy anything anymore. More torture was his fate. Until he had told them every little secret he knew, it'd go on endlessly, only stopping to keep him from dying or to reanimate him. And certain death was waiting at the end of the road, since he knew about the vampires too. I'll probably be doing you a favor, when I end your suffering.

Steres calmed slightly, the grip on his sword loosening a bit. When he was offered a smoke, he immediately remembered that he had lost his last pack during a struggle with a particularly annoying suit guy who decided to go hand to hand with him back at the club. The a$shole had ripped his jacket up pretty bad, tossing him back and forth against a wall, trying to beat the life out of him, so to speak. Steres felt that he was rather lucky to have survived the fight with only a few broken bones, which had already healed thanks in part to some blood he had consumed, though somewhat painfully. He was a bit peeved that his jacket had been ruined, however, him now wearing the jacket of a deceased vampire who was luckily about the same size as him.

The fight was certainly exhilarating, Steres thought as he took a smoke from the man and lighted up, taking in the sweet taste of the smoke as it filled his lungs. He then proceeded to integrate his sword back into his arm, wanting it to be ready when he needed it. Listening to his mentor speak, he chuckled softly as he commented on having 200 years of experience.

"Oh, myth. How I love you," Steres thought as he took another drag from his cigarette. Smirking a little, he then added, "200? You don't look a day over a hundred." He took another drag, relishing this brief respite he now had and deciding to try figuring out that puzzle once more. He pulled out the rubix cube from his pocket and began messing with it, trying to see if he would get lucky. He knew that there were certain patterns one could use to get all the sides the same color but Steres refused to use those, wanting to rather figure out out with his own intelligence or luck, whichever came first.

As he messed with it, cigarette in the corner of his mouth, he said, "So, senpai, I don't take it you were in the club when the attack went down. I didn't see you anyway. Do hunters usually attack at random like that? What's your experience with them, if you don't mind me asking?" Though he seemed focused on the block in his hands, he was paying attention to his mentor if he decided to talk to him.

He didn't even really notice the man being kicked on the ground.
