Chapter 298 & 299 Spoilers/Discussion/Prediction

I don't think we should be worried that Oku is only doing this for fanservice-reasons. I think he wanted a second Kurono for a couple reasons: 1) so that he can have the main character be in two different places at once; 2) so that he can resolve the Reika/Kurono-thing (yes, with a little sex thrown in) and 3) so that he can kill another Kurono without having the hassle to revive him again - which probably isn't possible anymore, since Gantz is walking around on the street naked, rather than stay in his ball.

We're still under the impression that Kurono's some unstoppable bad-ass that can bring down any alien. The first time he died didn't take that away, because he was without most of his memories, with no suit and no Gantz weaponry up against Host Samurai (the guy that cut down Nuri and could dodge his frickin' eyebeams up close). So what better way to show that the aliens are a threat by having one Kurono die in Katastrophe and having another one survive to lead the team?

@ twilt - yes a second Kurono is very very convenient. K2 might be compelled to live an alternate path given that K1 got to Tae first. That means they will both enter the katastrophe and one will sacrafuc himself IMO.

Also this is a big excuse for Kurono to beat Izumi's death score.

Chapters 297&298 were a huge W.T.F... I like how things are going right now. How many more chapters do you think Gantz is going to have before the end? Although it seems we are getting close to the end, i can only say i doubt it. I think we will see a big twist in the next few chapters.
