Reminds me of the beginning of the Tae mission. That was my favorite mission.

Finished? Sounds a bit like this is it for Cherry. Gantz might not like that he didn't score any points (or not enough) in that battle. With the catastrophe coming Gantz might not want weak hunters in it's ranks.
But then again, Oku is not that predictable.

Maybe Oku was forced to do this mission.

The alien design contest was years ago and suddenly making a short mission about the winner was a real surprise.

It could explain why this mission ended that soon and how the boss was that easy to kill.

i wonder what happens, if someone that never got 100 points would get a 100 points and choose a stronger weapon while he has a h-gun of another gantzer team. please speculate

Not a clue about what's happening now, but this chapter could be the end of Gantz as we know it and the beggining of a new story (like after a nuclear war or something similar to a post apocalyptic setting) or the begin of the end of this manga consumed in a few chapters (please not!!!)...

You never know. When HoiHoi is rolling around he is pretty round. Maybe is he just covered by the Gantz ball *gg*

That would be hilarious if that ugly alien was the boss and not David. It kind of explains why Gantz would start the transfer since the "boss" is dead, but usually missions don't end unless all aliens are dead. Inaba the coward is solely responsible for saving a lot of lives if what you're saying is true.

It doesn't seem like the boss was killed before the transfer started. I don't know if it was translated in the scantalations but in the Japanese version on the last page it says that it was a forced transfer. Based on that, either Kurono got the boss with the last shot or the boss lived. I personally can't wait til the next issue. This is some good stuff.

Why would Nishi be so anxious to see the points? Considering he knows about Katastrophe, I would figure he couldn't care less.

^He already has an H-Gun, but if he managed a 100 points, perhaps he's hoping to revive Izumi to give the team better odds of success.
