Thread: Gantz requirement in chapter 135

Does anyone have an idea as to why Gantz said that Kei had to get at least 15 points? I mean Kei was the only one who had such a burden on him.

Yes, but did not a lot of the peolpe just do nothing? Besides why does Gantz threaten him for this, but nothing happens when he protects Tae?

what if it was because he was killed a second time so it was like payment for gantz haveing to save him twice

Every time Gantz teleports you you get healed, so iam not sure if Kei really died a second time or justwas lucky to be called by Gantz in that very moment?

I was pretty sure that question was only addressed to Kei, cause if Gantz wanted everyone to see it, he would have put that message up before he teleported everyone away, instead of just waiting till Kei was the last one left.

I also agree that it was probably because Gantz knew that Kei was going to try to hide because he forgot his suit.

So you think Gantz does require old Gantzers to fight and not to hide? And I know that Kei had way above 15 points but even izumi who already achieved 100 points had only 16 points. Don't you think Gantz was being pretty harsh on Kei?

Gantz was kicking his ass into gear because Kei thought that he could get away with trying to do nothing again, like he tried to the first time he forgot his suit. (Even though he ended up kicking ass that time, against the bird thing, (tanaka alien boss), it was only accidental, he kicked ass out of instinct and fear for his life.)

understandable though considering the situation....

Really? I thought it was because Kurano failed to complete the previous mission, which was why he had an extra requirement the next time round.

Half the characters got zero points a couple of times(plus the dog got zero on every mission before he died), so I doubt it has anything to do with the points. I think it was just a penalty for not completing the previous mission(i.e. not killing every alien within the time limit), on yop of losing all your points.
