Thread: Which foreign team will be the stronger? (or helpful)

probably a team from israel. like someone else already mentioned, that every young adult of age there are required to serve some time in the military. They are especially trained in urban wafare and close-in combat, which is every similar to gantz environment.

Another deciding factor that I haven't seen mentioned is fear/stress/worries. One of the possible factors that contribute to the exceptional stupidity of the gantzers is fear. When you are in an extreme intense invironment, being stressed out by your fear, your common sense doesn't work a 10th of what it used to. And in conjunction, the reason why Kurono is very successful being a gantzer is when he drowns out his fear with the desire to live (demonstrated in dino mission and oni mission when the desire to see tae again drowns out his fear). So possibly, a team where there's constant warfare or violence, where people get used to having their lives being in danger, stronger gantzers can be expected.

I voted for nothing, not because I don't expect other teams to show up, but because I predict they're ALL gonna get slaughtered.

It wouldn't surprise me if we see some powerful, cocky U.S. teams, German teams or Israeli teams and they'll manage to take out quite a few statues because of all the equipment they've earned. However, once the bosses start showing up, they're all gonna die, Osaka-style. Or at the very least, they'll lose more than half of their players. Only those skilled teams that took the hunts seriously like the Tokyo Team AND constantly chose for stronger weapons have a chance of surviving, in my opinion.

I guess I'm just expecting most of the veteran Gantz teams to act like the Osakans and it's that attitude that's going to get them killed.

i'd love to see teams from south east asia..:b

It does make sense, If you're counting all those teams from cities, that actually have a team together, e. g. Germany: possibly Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen etc., you can judge the overall skill level and experience a nation team would have, by judging the skill, experience and what not in detail of those teams.

just finished watching gantz the abridged series and I have to say some things are hella funny. Episode 10: ''Rock Lee alien'', Thug #1's naruto reference was fuckin class before he got punched in the face.

^Well, who knows... Maybe the teams that show up will both be bad-ass AND take the hunts seriously - and then still get wiped out. In any case, I don't think any team from any country, no matter how many upgrades they have, will find this an easy mission. I think all the teams will have to work together if they want to have any chance of surviving.

Some of you misunderstand me.

This is a fun thread, not a serious one, CUZ i think Oku don't think about reality when he chooses which team is the stronger, but simply creates more strong than others the team he wanna be the stronger...
Like Osaka and Tokyo team... Ok in Japan Osaka is a city of "strange japanese" cuz they are very chaotic and not the typical stereotype someone aspect from a japanese city, but there's no "real" reason to show the osakan so strong... It's only a choice he done cuz he like it.

However, thinking serious:

So possibly, a team where there's constant warfare or violence, where people get used to having their lives being in danger, stronger gantzers can be expected.

So Israel, that you guyz quote many times, is not the tougher one.
I think the majority of African nations where there's the war all day, not a terrorist war like in Israel, but "real" (don't misunderstand me please) war, are the candidates to the stronger ganzter team in the world.
They born, live and than die in the war so there's no chance for other team to be more trained than them.

But, don't forgot that the real "hard point" in gantz missions is the "alien factor". You can be accustomed to the war how much you want but when a never seen monstrous alien statue/dino/oni/etc show in front of you it's natural to feel a real panic that drive you crazy or unable to do simple logical thoughts.

I agree 100% with your response to the theory of where there's constant warfare or struggle will produce a stronger Gantz team and Isreal is commonly said on this site to be the best candidate. I understand where you coming from and I will endorse your perspective on this theory. Anyway, I feel the best team will the an American one.
